THX the reason behind was so I could IM at the same time as I was trying to do this for the 1st time at home Once one does something once or twice then it sticks but as some do not know how or are unaware then mistakes are to be made.
Also I was sent here after posting in another thread on "LIT"

As for help I went to ASK.COM and looking thru the EXCEL sites and did find tutorials and I did find some help but not everything.

So thank you for your help and since this is my thread I will also delete it as not to infringe on something I do not totaly understand things sure have changed here since I 1st joined in the early '90s

Getting help via IM is fine, but many are reluctant to just give that info out to a random person online and like to share publicly so others can benefit - that was my point.

Since you're still having trouble, I'd suggest first searching for your specific questions on google first, e.g. 'How do I arrange things alphabetically in Excel?' then posting them here if you can't find the info. There are quite a few people who can either tell you how to do it or help you find it on the web. Be advised that there's generally less activity here on weekends, so you may have to wait longer than usual to get help.

You can not delete threads yourself, and moderators are usually reluctant to do so without good reason.
