Exactly how big is a woman who is considered a BBW?

I've been trying to figure out if I fall into that catagory. I don't think of myself as obese but I have a few extra pounds.

I don't know the answer to that, sorry, but I don't see you as someone who is really heavy. You have curves, that's a good thang. :)

I've always wondered about this...some people would say a siz 12 counts, while others would say a 250-plus woman, or something else.

I always wonder the same thing. I keep going by what I was before I had kids and that is a big difference.

Thanks Kitty, I do have curves but I have a few bumps in the road too.

Hans LMAO that struck me funny.

Oh, LTR you can't be serious! You are nowhere near BBW, and if you are where in the fuck does that leave me? lol

Your more than welcome Wicked - heh bumps.

I have those as well. ;-)

In today's standards I guess if you are not a bean pole, your a BBW right? Sexy must have curves in my book.

Pt, I think that's completely possible. I guess I put myself there too.

Hi Caligula, how are ya?
I don't find bean pole women sexy at all. There's nothing to get a hold of and you can't take em' out on a windy day for fear of them blowing away.

What sometimes strikes me as odd is that if you look back on history, the standard of beauty certainly used to embrace women that today are often considered to be 'big'.

How true.

BBW is someones concept I rather ignore

soft and succulent is term I use not into bean poles

Well, the fashion industry considers "plus-sized models" to be sizes 10 and 12. But then, their "regular" models are no more than size 2.

According to retail stores, "regular" sizes usually end somewhere in the size 15 to 18 range, and "plus" sizes begin somewhere between 14 and 20. So theoretically that overlap is either one. But BBW is definitely over size 20, and "regular" sizes are definitely 12 and below.

Um, I think.
