Everything Baseball

I'm not surprised the Cardinals lost, but no score through 8 was pretty surprising.

The Royals are getting clobbered by the Yankees this week so far

Blue Jays sending Biggio to Dodgers

Interesting move.
I'm not sure how the trade helps the Dodgers a lot, even though Biggio can play several positions. He's not going to win any batting titles. The Jays get a prospect pitcher.

Houston drops the ball, literally, and LAA walks it off in the 9th.
Looks like the Astros are giving Trevor Bauer a look. The team needs arms, but I don't love the drama that follows him.
In college baseball, Texas A&M advances to the CWS by scoring 9 in the 7th last night after trailing 8-4. Apparently, Oregon's coach doesn't know when to warm up a reliever. By the time he did, it was too late.
I'm beginning to worry about your boys a little,31-38 and a full 9 games out. They should be better than this but still time.

Yeah, this is looking like an “all good things must end” kind of season. You never know, but I’m prepared for the worst. Injuries and poor play have doomed us.

Probably gotta win the division to get in,that wild card is looking logjammed up top.

Oh the ACC and SEC both got 4 teams in the CWS,that starts tomorrow.

The Royals have just hit the buzz saw of the Yankees. Still a chance today, but...might be the first sweep against the Royals all year.

Cardinals are teetering against the Pirates, but I'm hopeful

Red Sox take the series from the Phillies. Not sure how many times they’ve done that vs. an over .500 team this year but I’ll take it. And I still hate the fact that they didn’t sign Kyle Schwarber, or “Kyle from Waltham” as he’s fondly remembered in the New England area.

The Braves would have liked that as well....

7th inning stretch still 0-0
Something a little different today, played at the 7th inning stretch at every St. Louis Cardinals home game. 💯
