Time can just slip through you fingers? It seems as though last week it was May, and now suddenly it is August and I finally have time to join not only this world, but my world as well.
It feels good to be back.
And how appropriate that the day I have time, is the day we get a real good soaking from the sky. Our heat wave ends today, as does my separation from my life.

Time is such a fluid thing, I remember summer days stretching on forever in front of me when I was little. A summer was an eon of fun. I was more concerned with filling each day with something new instead of fitting in all I wanted to do in 3 short months.

What else makes you wonder why?

Hey, darlin'!

Good to see you again. :)

I wonder why I woke up at 3:00 a.m. That's what I'm wondering at the moment, anyway....

Hamlet my friend, it is good to be back. I was lost for a summer in the world of Shakespeare (you know how that is :) )

And you have a good wonder there, I'd wonder that as well!

Time flies when you are busy. One day you are 30 and next thing ya know, 40 is staring you right in the face.

The last thing I remember was the 4th of July.

Well, not really.

Ain't no cure for the summertime blues. . . .

Being lost in Shakespeare for a summer sounds pretty nice to me. Hope it all went well for you.

I wonder what life is really all about. Right know I feel like I have been wondering so long that I have gotten lost. Can someone help me find my way?

GeG - its great to have you back here. *smile*

Time... hmmm:
  • Is on my side?
  • Is nature's way to keep everything from happening at once?
  • Is money?
  • Flies?

I've always wondered...

Being a jersey boy I see all the seasons of the year in full glory. They seem to pass by quite quickly though as they pass into one another. The year seems to fly by.

Do those in perpetually warm climates feel the year lasts longer? Does one long season seem to last longer than 4 quickly passing ones?

I wonder....

There is summer....

and then a punctuation mark... like a comma......

trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrak,5

That Umberto.... such a curious little fellow.

As I was saying.... where I live we get just a taste of cold. Ice and snow. I Russian friends who remind me I know nothing about winter. I believe them.

I was lost for the summer in Vienna in the 1500's and in Sicilia in to specific time period. i would not change what happened for the world, and the world is a very large thing.

And I agree with Jerseyboy about the seasons. I live in New England, and I adore it (wth the possible exception of January, but that's another story), but it seems like I barely settle into one season when it starts to fade and another seeps in. I am constantly switching my dressers with my various clothes.

I just wonder how it is that time moves so much more quickly now that I am older than when I was smaller. And will it slow down again when I am much older.
