Ever get to the point where nothing sounds good anymore and you don't really want to do anything? How do you snap out of that?

I went through that when I was about 12 or 13. Turned out to be a chemical inbalance in my brain. I took some antidepressants and life became bearable again. Not good; bearable.

Death works well, as does senseless violence, and trying to chat up random callers

Especially........

When the weather's been shitty for about a week straight, and you get tired of waking up to it. It drags the whole agenda down, and you close the windows and watch cartoons.
The only thing that gets me out of the slump is make plans for when it's sunny. Anything entertaining helps with general blahs, an arcade, the gym, book store, or X-Box. Anything to escape the stuff that's bringing you down, except if you just go after what's buggin you by making it go away.

Yeah. Violence and Mayhem always perks me up. They should make an International Coffee in that flavor.

You can already get Kenyan and Columbian.

Of course if that doesn't get your interest, some Ceylon(Sri Lanka) tea always is a go.

Now can you get that with a caning is the question.

Yeah ... I've been that way many times. Nothing I can think of doing seems like it's worth it. As much as I love video games, it's a hassle to hook up what ever system I want to play, I don't want to figure out the DVD remote to watch a movie, Lit seems like it's same 'ol, same 'ol, no one on the phone I want to talk to, and the stupid bitch on the Price Is Right over bid her showcase after I specifically told her not to bid over 19,500.

I don't know what to tell you, other than it does happen, sucks when it does, but eventually the funk will pass and things seem interesting again.

Happens to me every once in a while. It usually passes the next day. But it's tough getting through that day, hating everything.
