Ever get aroused during a massage?

I have often gotten aroused during a massage. Most embarrassing was with a female therapist. Being a gay man it was doubly awkward. Luckily she ignored it and I survived.

Yes, but it isn't because of the masseuse, it's because I love tactile stimulation and deep tissue pressure...define that as you will!.

As a massage therapist I am finding this thread intriguing.

Its true, the body may have an involuntary response to what appears to be arousal, particularly in males, after all, a major intent of manual therapy is freeing up space, opening blockages and restoring blood flow to areas of the body that may not be receiving it. Its usually not a big deal, I pretend not to notice and go about my business and nothing is ever said (to avoid embarrassment).

Of course, there is the occasional client who makes you wonder why he is really there, those are the creepy ones.

My husband has commented on this. He says he cant help it and just makes sure he does not send any unwanted signals to the masseuse like what you mentioned. He says that the girls normally discreetly use a towel to move around those sensitive areas or move certain things if they need to be moved.

Yes I have. I tried to just relax and expected it to go away.... but the masseusse kept gently massaging around and just underneath my balls, barely gracing them while she did her job. I came without even trying, and she just said, oh my - well, that happens sometimes. And she handed me a cloth to clean up. I was both embarrassed and relieved at the same time! Somehow I thought she was trying to get that result, but never admitted to it!

The only professional massage I've ever had was only on my neck and shoulders and didn't do anything for me even considering it was performed by a very pretty young lady.

However, have had and given a lot of naked massages as a form of foreplay and definitely produced arousal. :D

Recent experience. I went to a massage therapist who is also a friend. He gave ma a great massage, which I sorely needed. When he got to my glutes, he gave them extra attention and before long my cock was rock hard.

As his fingers ran over my ass they strayed down the crack and I involuntarily raised up to meet them. I guess he took that to mean I needed a deeper massage, and he began roughing around my asshole. I pushed back and his fingers entered me.

By now, I was on all fours on the table and my cock was rigid. Let me just say it was a happy ending for my “end” and cock. Helps being friends with the masseur.

Only once or twice when having a back massage. Got a little close to my ass.

No. I can’t stand massages. I can’t recall ever having had a massage I have found pleasurable in the slightest and will avoid them at all cost.

I cannot relate to this in the slightest, though I know several people that say this. I always assume they've never had a good massage therapist.

GinnyGina, I have a legitimate question and would like an answer from a massage therapist's point of view. Any other massage therapist feel free to answer as well.

I have always been self conscious about going to get a massage. It goes back to my first experience, which thank goodness the therapist was very understanding and actually quite nice about. I almost always find that I get an erection. It typically does not go down. I also find it to be a distraction to relaxing because of fear of it happening. Let's be honest a relaxation massage is often very sensual especially if the lights are low and the music is ocean waves or similar. So here is the question. Would you be offended if a client asked to be able to relieve hismself after the session was over? Not with you present. Not on your linens. I have actually asked this and have found the reactions to be a very wide spectrum. I make it clear that I don't expect help or you in the room. I bring a towel so as not to soil your linens. I just want that endorphin release as I am still in that very relaxed state

Absolutely!

A long, sensual massage by someone who knows what they're doing can turn me into pure jelly.
Or, I guess a more accurate term would be silly putty LOL. I will, and have, literally agreed to anything afterwards.

I've never understood why in movies and TV shows where someone is being interrogated
for information, the interrogators always resort to violence. Give me 45 minutes alone with Putin
and I'll give you the names and addresses and bank accounts of every Russian hacker.

Right, GinnyGina?

I truly believe this.

This is pretty damn hot!!

A massage from my husband almost always ends in sex. Sometimes I am completely turned on and sometimes not.

I used to go to this massage therapist years ago. She was in the same office as my chiropractor. My chiropractor recommended her and I agreed to see her. She turned out to be very pretty and easy to talk to. Even though she only worked on my back, I was aroused through the entire treatment. I was brokenhearted when she moved. She was nothing but professional, but having a pretty girl massaging you certainly makes you enjoy it more.

We are both completely turned on from a massage. Which is why we don't really go for massage anymore. We bought a table and are pretty good at it.

when I was getting my experience I loved my erection. So what if I get something feel it discovered like any other. There were times that were comforting comments. Others where I was given a little sympathy. Or offered to go do it myself and come back...

The finest and most costly was a tantric goddess experience. Amazing. I convinced here to go with me as a couple. We have been our sole providers ever since.

I do miss someone I don't know seeing me naked but that is how it goes....

former MT

I did MT for years and this was pretty common, as common as people talking out their problems like I was a dancer, bartender or hairdresser, as common as crying. Yeah that happens not infrequently.

Humans seem to understand the need for touch, contact, physical comfort with children and pets but we seem to age out of it or are trained by society that contact is inappropriate. For some people our bi-weekly or monthly sessions were the most contact they would get with another person.

Add on to that the training that (most states) require for MTs is only shy of some nursing degrees and it's easy to see these professionals have a good knowledge of the workings of human bodies and respect for them.

Feeling self-conscious is only going to make you tense and make an MTs job harder and body work is already a complex business to begin with. Understand that unless the MT is new there is very little you can do that will be new for them. Relax, let them help you heal and trust that they take your client sessions with the same respect and confidentiality as any medical professional.

Also, 99.999999% they aren't getting hot while doing this for you. After staring at bodies and giving my legs, back, arms, hands intense workouts all day honestly all I wanted to do at the end was go home shower and not even see another human being for a while.

**EDIT**: This applies to medically certified MTs not back of magazine ads, or Craigs List. You are a lot more inclined to be professional if it is your butt on the line or working under a group shingle because lawsuits happen big time.

I understand that.
