i support the destruction of hamas but i am STRONGLY pro Palestinian when it comes to stopping Israel bomb civilians so terribly. That doesn't make me an anti-semite. I am also pro Israel when it comes to keeping their own population safe from hamas and i am anti-netanyahu for he and his administration's acts in this war. In fact, what about the rest of the world? Look at Ireland, how weird is that? Obviously, there brains aren't working, and they do call them the stupid Irish! Greta is being a bit of a politician and attempting to maintain the coalition of the youth who largely support climate activism AND an end to the war in Gaza.



On the opposite side, I have already seen online posts from people trying to attach Greta’s peace activism to her climate activism, suggesting that people should reject Greta’s climate goals because of her peace goals.



Greta is in a similar , difficult position as President Biden, but both are being consistent in their overall values, while pursuing their main goals.



Of course, no one is in a more difficult position than the Israelis and the Palestinians who appear to be locked in a death spiral.



Side note:

The music video was still quite effective, even with the altered title and lyrics: The constant Hamas rocket attacks being intercepted by Israel’s iron dome, symbolized by the flashes of the lighting over the performers, and the swirling debris around the performers symbolizing Israel’s position in the middle of / surrounded by hostile neighbors was quite powerful, imho. - And Eden has an incredibly beautiful voice, singing an incredibly beautiful song: She should be tough to beat.

Also, the Netherlands was disqualified before the finals for some backstage shenanigans and were not permitted to perform.

And Ireland's contestant said publicly that Israel should have been dumped from the finals just like Russia was two years ago. No word on whether the Israeli War Cabinet will drop American bombs on Ireland (since Israel is now prohibited by President Joe Biden from dropping their American bombs on Gaza and it would be a pity to waste shiny new American bombs).
