Europe Holds Bush in Contempt

No kidding.

The shame of it is, you're letting your personal hatred shield you from doing the right thing. At least Tony Blair and a few other people get it.

But Jacques Chirac is clearly jacking off by molding the EU in his image with one hand and flipping the bird to the U.S. and the "New Europe" with the other.

And the right thing is what?

Bombing to smithereens the civilian population of Iraq over 50% of which are children...

Yeah great one America...

But you don't care do you? Brought up on a diet of violent death on TV and in real life you have become desensitised to the killing of human beings. To you that is the first and only option (so long as the other side is weaker than yourself) you seem to glory in the colour red, in the sight of murder and mayhem.

For you the right thing means the right thing as far as America is concerned...

I'll give your country another 200 years before it goes the way of Rome...

ppman is always a great one with assumptions, such as the civilian population that will be "bombed to smithereens." And pp apparently doesn't care that Iraq is now a police state, where people are routinely jailed without a trial because they offended Saddam or someone else in power. (Of course, in pp's ideal government, that would be a necessity. You know, "someone weaker than yourself" not being in charge.)
There is nothing wrong with America doing the right thing for America (and the rest of the civilized world), despite pp's protests. This war started long before 9/11, and only a fool would believe that it ended with the occupation of part of Afghanistan.
PPman can overlook Saddam's faults all he wants. Bottom line: The people of Iraq will be better off without him.
I'm eager to see how hard the Iraq army fights for Saddam before surrendering to an enemy much more concerned about the people of Iraq than their ruler.

Hence the foolish belief of the foriegn detractors: fuck the Iraqis, Hussein can have his way so long as George W. Bush doesn't have his.

does chirac have 3 hands?

Doubtful, but it's clear he has but one brain — and he's probably using about one-third of it.

Why's that then?

Because he doesn't follow the Bush route?

Who can blame him. It's well documented just how poorly Bush is able to concentrate on something for more than 10 minutes...

All George can think of is kill, kill, kill...

Well documented by whom? All you can think about is reasons to despise the U.S.
Relax in your comfortable world, Mr. Chamberlain. We'll take care of things before they can become a problem for you and Mr. Petain. Sorry, I meant Chirac.

No, but he's multitalented. In addition to all that, he's handling a situation in the Ivory Coast like it was still a French colony (i.e. quite unilaterally) and inviting Zimbabwe's brutal dictator Robert Mugabe for wine and brie in Par-ee.

If Saddam abdicated today, there wouldn't be a shot fired, and you know it.

as is Zimbabwe - where's your spine Blair?

Journey back to Yesteryear.....

Substitute "Bush" with "Reagan", and you've got the same fucking mantra as then. Does this sound familiar?...."cowboy" "warmonger" "dictator" "one finger away" or the usual about the vice president, "one heartbeat away?"
Check your archives, this is so old, the hatred of a conservative is the same, except Berlin is a whole city partly due to that "cowboy" Reagan.
History keeps turning, and so does the communist spin.

Contempt? No, I don't think so. Speaking as a European, I do prefer a smoothly shaved pussy, but contempt is putting it too strongly.

While we do what's right for America were going to fuck ourselves in the ass.
