Euro Lit Get Together in Amsterdam?

Life has been a little rushed and overwhelming for us of late, and still is, but wanted to post this so we can get some feedback from the BDSM board posters who may be interested. After the hugely positive experience we had attending the East Coast (USA) Lit /BDSM Get Together last year, and in recognition of our growing number of European posters on the board, we thought some may be interested in getting together to meet in Amsterdam.

We are open to suggestions on what sort of get together people may prefer and when everyone thinks they would find it best timing wise. We initially looked at the idea of a dinner evening with a possible club visit following, but are also open to a weekend get together if this is preferred. The weekend option would be more logical if we had people from a wider radius wanting to join in, and also allows for a variety of activities from just talking and getting to know each other to demonstrations etc.

This could be a lot of fun!!...and of course, if anyone wants to follow our lead and visit the get together from the USA or Oz or NZ or anywhere else, you will be most welcome. Mmmm, 3 people come to mind immediately and I am sure they know who they are!

I can empathise with you about the Asia issue....need to spread ourselves more and get the word out!! Would be great if you could manage to make this one, though understand the difficulties....would heaps of warning time be a help?

Alas, not this one, I'm afraid. We're saving money for a downpayment on a house right now. Hopping around Asia's almost free for us... hopping to Europe would be an arm and a leg or two.
Hmm... maybe once we've relocated to FL it'll be easier, I'm sure.

Thought I should dig this up again despite my huge disappointment life got in the way of it happening at the time expected. I apologise for the delay, but as I am sure most of you realise, it was unavoidable at the time.

Now back to Plan B....I figured most would not be looking to hold the get together this late in the year due to the closeness of Christmas and New Year when many are busy with shopping, family, and keeping the credit card balance manageable....plus we are still buried deep in renovations. (Believe me, you would not want to see this place right now!!)

I also thought if it was postponed to somewhere after the festive season is over, it might allow for us to work around the schedules of everyone, (big hint Hecate and Shadowsdream as I am sure we are not alone in wanting to meet you) and plan better and hopefully economically. I welcome any feedback from those interested in attending, and of course an update on those who want to attend as some have not been seen on the board for awhile and there are also newer members who might like to join us.

Maybe when I am closer to being able to take time off work and just go. I still want to make a Europe trip but I don't see that happening until at least next summer.

I can relate...will be a matter of us saving as well though possibly not as much as those who do not live here. That is part of why I think putting it off until next year and being flexible in when gives us all time to work out when it would fit economically and timewise into our schedules....and it would be great to meet you!!

Cool....I also think a weekend sounds fun, as well as makes it more worthwhile for anyone who has to travel to get here. For anyone unable to make it for the whole weekend they could stiull drop in and meet everyone and hopefully join in something we planned to do. I am hoping we can get a date together well in advance so it allows for better planning and less rush.....ugh, I am still looking at weeks of renovations here but it keeps me out of mischief and is creating something we love.
