There's been many rumors about him retiring, but, this came from King, himself. This comes a HORRIBLE news, because, he hasn't finished teh Dark Tower, yet. It's like watching Titanic, &, the credits roll before it sinks.

The Dark Tower books (And all of his other books that have even the tiniest reference to events/people/etc from the Dark Tower) are my favorite books.

Dah!!! god dammit--if this is true . . . I have spent the better part of my life reading Dark Tower books. Does he know how angry everyone is going to be? All those disgruntled readers . . . wait, of course he knows--he wrote "Misery." I mean, it's the same advice newbies get on the story feedback boards--don't start a story unless you know you're going to finish it. Christ. Where's my Dodge Caravan, I think I have to finish something . . .
