Absolutely essential!

You can add just about ANYTHING Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Also add Pink's "Bobby McGee" unplugged if you can find it. She's sounds amazing when she sings it.

Pete Townsend's "Eminence Front" should be on the list somewhere too if for nothing else than the music.

Scorpions "Winds of Change" (find the long version, it's MUCH better)

4 non blondes "What's up"

So, a top five plus one list in no particular order except the last...

Scarlett Begonias - Grateful Dead

Last of the Singing Cowboys - Marshall Tucker Band

Shaft - Isaac Hayes

My Male Curiosity - Kid Creole and the Coconuts

Taxi - Harry Chapin

Wichita Lineman - Glen Campbell

Having said the above, she probably needs some Beatles, Stones and Led Zeppelin in the mix.

Neil Young and John Prine are in leagues of their own

Also, Larkin Poe is a current throwback to American roots rock bands. They are excellent.

Hmmmm....

Can't you Hear me Knocking- Stones
Song for the Dumped- Ben Folds Five (They'll need it eventually)
Aja- Steely Dan
Mother Mother- Tracey Bonham
On the Bound- Fiona Apple
Surrender- Cheap Trick
Angel from Montgomery- Tedschi Trucks Band (or Prine, or Bonie Raitt)
Penguins- Lyle Lovett
Cold Sweat- James Brown
Good Times- Chic
Short Skirt Long Jacket-Cake
Ballet for the Girl in Buchannon- Chicago
Natural Woman- Carole King
Levon- Elton John
All Blues- Miles Davis
Resolution- John Coltrane
It don't mean a Thing- Duke Ellington
Sir Duke- Stevie Wonder
The Plan- Built to Spill
I Mean You- Thelonious Monk
A Night in Tunisia- Dizzy Gilespie
Up From the Skies- Jimi Hendrix Experience
Everybody is a Star- Sly and the Family Stone
Atomic Dog- P Funk
Laywers Guns and Money- Warren Zevon
Respectable Street- XTC
Fool in the Rain- Zeppelin

Sorry I went a little nutty to hit a lot of highlights.

Teenage kicks-The undertones
Hey Ya -OutKast
Ghost Town -The Specials
House of Fun - Madness
Funky cold Medina - Tone Loc

Bad Company is essential!

Ready For Love

Karaoke version because this one's definitely a sing-along. This is one of those songs where I wail on the phrases I know and mumble through the rest.

In that Bad Com0any vein you gotta have

Feel Like Making Love

You would think Bad Company the song as well, but I would go with:

Five Finger Death Punch.

Honestly, just ask him what his favourites are, then I can throw stuff.

Also, you're totally old

My top 5.

When the levy breaks. Led zeppelin
Seven faces. Slayer
Suspicious minds. Elvis
Roadhouse blues. The doors.
The first 4 black sabbath albums.

I could go on imperpituity.

And add in amy Winehouse or adele and you will cover every emotion under the sun.

Oh and The tale of brave Ulysses. Cream

This is hard!

She definitely likes stuff from this century. Added. These are great, also perfect for a lazy Sunday morning.

All solid suggestions. I din’t think I have ever heard Pink cover that. I found it on YouTube. If I do a deep dive into my collection on my hard drive I’ll grab that one.

Not Townsend, but this reminds me I have to add Boris the Spider.

Not nutty at all. These are great additions.

More ska is where it’s at.

I’ll leave Ton Loc off. Music has always been the exception to bad language and what have you, but I cringed a little just adding Pusherman.
