Last week I submitted a story, under the title "The Rescue". What I found on the site this week was some other story, by someone else but with my name as author.

I've sent messages to the site by every means I could find, but the erroneous story remains with my name as author.

It seems that whoever runs the Literotica Web site is not much interested in correcting any mistake.

Did you try sending laurel (the site owner) a pm? Thats really the only way to get in touch with her

I had this precise problem earlier this week. I sent a PM to Laurel with an explanation, and she fixed it immediately. She will send a response with instructions for you to follow, so make sure your PMs are on.

Good luck.

I had that problem a couple of years ago. I was out of the country on vacation when it posted, and my editor noticed the problem and PMed (you have to PM. Upper right corner of this page) Laurel, and she fixed it immediately--even with my editor rather than me noting the problem.

My thanks to the people who replied. I found PM in the Quick Links menu on this page, but I saw no link for new messages or any indication of how to address a message to Laurel.

Do you have Private Messages turned on? To check, click on "User CP" at the top left of the page, then click on "Edit Options" on the left side of the next screen, then scroll down under Messaging & Notifications and look at the box that says "Enable Private Messaging." If it's blank, click on it and save your changes.

When PMs are enabled, you can either click on "Private Messages" at the top right of a forum page, type "Laurel" (sans quotes) in the To: field, or you can find Laurel's name on one of the stickies, click on it, and select the option to send Laurel a private message.

Thanks for Additional Response

Many thanks, PennLady. I enabled Private Messages, found the link in the Quick Links menu, and sent a message to Laurel.
