No, not really. There's a subtle difference between what I did and a declaration.

Whisper, much of the feedback I received on "Poop Chute" was that I projected a serious superiority complex. Didn't really intend to, but at the same time I know how it got in there. I DO believe that if you use some of those words, you are a moron. I'm unofficially 'prenticing myself out to you and Muffin so I can learn how to edit better, but in the meantime I have my share of intelligence. What I need to develop is patience.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion about what makes someone a moron. There are loads of things people do in their writing that make me think, "MORON." Usually it's misusing a word. I think that even the silly phrases, like "purple passion pistol" have their place, but it'll be the exception rather than the rule.

Being a better self-editor isn't necessarily going to cure you of a style in which you come off superior. If you are able to see where you came off as superior, then you can probably fix it. KM's the resident editor. I'm retired.
