erotic poems vs non erotic

a question
we have a erotic and non - erotic story section
however with poetry when looking at top list we have a mixture

They are vastly different styles of poetry
one to get hot with ( hopefully)
and one which arouses different senses.

Are they combined because
* less readers?
* less submissions?
* no point in having two lists ?

I for one like to vote and read both types of poetry
but would prefer a list that was not combined
does anyone know the reason why they are combined please?

Yes it is a strange system

Indeed it probably is due to the low readership of poetry compared to stories. My highest poetry reader count is below 400 yet within a day my stories get well over that.

Still, what you say is correct about the differences between the 'appeals' of non-erotic vs erotic poetry and so a separate list would make some sense.

We can hope.

I believe that the reason the top Poetry list includes both erotica and non-erotica poems is becasue of the low submissions.

A lot of people come over to Lit because of the fact that this is a story based site. Although I've seen this site in the many links (Greenguy's Link-O-Rama , for one), they base the whole idea of this site around stories.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was an erotic poetry site somewhere out there on the Internet.
