I wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions for any good erotic graphic novels? I haven't read any to date but thought it might be fun to look into it.

On another note, I'm an admirer of comix or erotic comics and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a source for some modern ones? I used to love to read "Wicked Wanda" as well as "Annie Fanny" - those are probably dating me. :D Some others that I have found I enjoy recently are Jab comix. Just thought I would see if anyone has others that they enjoy.

Back in the 30s Al Capp illustrated some risqué books about life in Arkansas, the scantily attired gals he was famous for give-it-up as Capp's work. The subject prolly inspired LIL ABNER.

Hullo dahlink! I think BrambleThorn's avatar has links to one; and Matthew posted one in the Hot Arabic Chicks thread. I like Dykes to Watch Out for, but it is designed for the gurrls rather than menfolk ;)

Yep, Oglaf is one of my faves, though I wouldn't recommend reading it as a way to get turned on. Not unless you find stuff like this episode arousing.

I'd strongly recommend the Foglio's "XXXenophile" for sex-positive comedy fun. (Almost all M/F and F/F although there's a brief bit of M/M early on.)

And if you like bondage and spanking, early Wonder Woman is chock-full of it. Seriously.

Well, as for the classics, I enjoyed Sexy Losers and Ghastly's Ghastly Comics a long time ago, but they're both more sex comedy than sexy. Sexy Losers probably had a pretty big impact on my current view of humor and sex in stories, though, so I personally think it's always worth checking out, and of the two, it's by far the superior.

Fan art rather than vintage, HP, but it should keep you... erm, going... ;)

You can get the early strips in print collections these days (which is how I got mine), but the samples Steve posted are pretty representative.

The guy who created WW had some... unconventional... ideas about psychology, sexuality, and gender relations.

Milo Manara's illustrations are priddy. Often short on plot, but nice enough for eye candy...

I was going to mention Milo Manara. His Click series is terrific. My favorite is Butterscotch.

Smut comix.....ahh where to begin. In the nineties, I drove my local comic store nuts tracking down all the smut comics I wanted. Eros comix was great and still producing. Xxxxxenophile as Bramblethorn mentioned is great as well. Another great series was Larry Welz's Cherry Poptart. It's a bit more noir but Howard Chaykin is still producing neat work. For fantasy fans Bill Willingham's Ironwood was classic, but even funnier was his letters page where he would rant about everyone and everything in no uncertain terms. As an artist both Adam Hughes and Terry Moore produce beautiful art, Moore also writes a great series in Strangers in Paradise.

Enjoy.....

slave_ just introduced me to this with four volumes from her library; definitely not just for the gurrls at all - I'm enjoying it quite a bit myself.

Too cute... "Yay!"

Yeah, he is a bit out there. Genius.

 I work mainly with women who are 20 years younger than me. I think some of that may be rubbing off...

Absolutely nuts...I'm still wrapping my head around the second two volumes of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Is that the Century stories? They're a head-trip, all right... Reminiscent of Moorcock's Jerry Cornelius stories, I thought.

Slavesays that's a good thing!

Yep, the century stories are a massive head trip...literally in the third one.
