I'm actually pretty jazzed. I got rejected by one place because the story, "wasn't what they were looking for," and have yet to hear from the second place I tried.

I'm pretty clueless about this sort of stuff, but I'm going to see what i can come up with on it. I'm definitely not interested in giving anyone any right beyond the publication stipulated. If they want more than that they should have to ask and pay for it.

Yes, in deedy. I hadn't given up, I was just waiting to see what the second folk thought before looking elsewhere. Of course, this isn't the same story that I subbed, so I see no conflict here. Provided they aren't expecting to have full and exclusive rights to anything they publish. Perhaps I'll see if i can get a hold of s couple of their authors and ask them about these folks, eh? *evil *
