I know what you mean! Extremely relaxing.

Same here, she has a GREAT ability to relax me, I love listening to her stuff, (and don't take this next bit the wrong way, as I listen to a lot of music before I go to sleep), I also find her music is the best to listen to as I'm trying to fall asleep, as it relaxes me enough.

Of course I do admit to being a classic Heavy Metal fan at heart (70's & 80's were the best years for music IMO :))

I find her painfully boring.

(Don't tell Bertie Ahern, he'll pull my passport.)

Her cd with that "I Just want To Thank You" toon on it was huge in Europe in early 2001. whenever I hear it now I'm transported to a day I spent driving an A6 Quattro through the Alps from Geneva to Milan....heavenly scenery and fabulous roads if you like to drive the way you ski.

Wild Child brings me to a level of lucidity I rarely attain in my (half) waking life.

She has some good stuff but I never really had any opportunity to listen to her except for on the Lord of the Rings soundtrack.

Oh hell yes. I love relaxing to her music when im soaking in the tub or relaxing right before sleep.

My favourites (well, the ones I've d/l'd so far) would have to be:

China Roses
Exile
Caribbean Blue

I still think it's funny how my best friend gave me a strange look to see Enya playing instead of Ozzy, hehehe. :)

Absolutely. Her music is so very soothing. It just kinda wraps itself around you.

That's cool...my daughter listens to her 'A Day Without Rain' CD every night before she falls asleep.

I want "How can I stop from Singing" played at my funeral...very beautiful song..

Hehe, I hate to say it... but Dreamer was Ozzy worst song in a looong time, more to the point, while it was good... the only stuff worse than it was War Pigs methinks (yes, it may have been one of his most popular songs, but I hate it to be truthful).

His best stuff was on the No More Tears album.

As for Cooper, some of his stuff is great, such as Poison, that HAS to be in my top 5 songs of all time :).

________

Great artist that engages with lyrical poetry as well.

Well the album is no more tears, and I have to say the best song is a tie between Mr Tinkertrain (I still swear that song is about abducting a kid and abusing them) and Don't Want To Change The World.

But this is getting off topic, and seeing as I'm new, I don't wanna do that just yet ;).
