Enviouse? Nope.
There are some things I could wish for, things that would make my life easier but I don't feel envy towards anyone.
I now for the first time in my life own my own place. I now for the first time can call where I live home.
Yes I could wish for better pay, pay equal to what I do. Yes I could wish to be treated as an equal where I work (Oh yes I do know how it feels to be the minority. Not only am I the only male on my unit but I am the only white C.N.A. on my unit.), but I know that's not going to happen. Yes I coud even wish for a chance to get affordable HomeOwners Insurance but I know that is but a pipe dream here in South Florida.
On the other hand I don't have to worry about the landlord deciding to come and visit. I don't have to worry about anyone telling me how many or what kind of pets I can have. (That's a good thing because I have a herd of cats.) If I want to paint the walls of my place Hot Pink and put in a Canary Yellow rug I could do so. (Although I might commit suicide within 24 hours of doing so.)
