Enough bullshit. Let's see some beard.

I owe my beard to the Bi-centennial of 1976. Nearly every man in the nation started growing a beard. I had never really gotten into a daily habit of shaving. It wasn't much work, but it didn't take much effort to let it go.

A few years later, beards were out of fashion again. I gave it a game try, but by this time, my beard was a formidable opponent. I gave it a game try and was clean shaven for a few weeks. My 3 year old daughter said, "You don't look like my Daddy, anymore." That was enough.

It was sort of a surprise to look at those old face pics. Although I don't shave bare faced, it still requires constant maintenance and more of it. The 20 something Bronze had smooth cheekbones. If the 50 something Bronze neglected his beard, after a couple months, he could play the wolfman without makeup.
 
Our resident definitely-a-20-year-old made a Rock Hudson joke.
