Really? This thread seems more about validation and the need to find that he is not the only one who can enjoy serving for the point alone and get caught up in the circular idea of it. I think you are projecting. He talks about her view on it and how she feels he hasn't failed... but yet he does. He is looking for validation that he hasn't failed. The question "what's the problem?" I don't think it matters how someone else would feel, because you are not in a relationship with them. Have you discussed this with her? If it's important to both of you, I'm sure you two can think of a way to work on this without making it out like you're failing.

Well said, I was thinking of saying just about the same thing here. I can understand questioning yourself and wondering if any others experience the same thing as you do. But I would have to agree, you should really talk to her about it, some time when you're not "in the moment" obviously. I think ultimately if it's not an issue for your Mistress, then it should not be an issue that you worry about, if you continue to think it over and over it is going to spoil both of your enjoyment in what you are doing.
