Endless Ends

What an exhausting excursion.

That's it! I refuse to leave the house for the rest of the day.

#standsfirm

*thunk*

And, sorry about derailing your thread!!
You didn't. ;)

By the way, re picture. You don't actually fence, per chance?

Asking because I have been wanting to take lessons for the last six years and still haven't managed to get on track.

Not anymore.. but in my late teens/early twenties I did actually fence.. 🙈

Yes, I miss it dearly!
*trying not to derail further*

Did you see any fencing from Paris? In the Grand Palais... it looked STUNNING! Insane crowds too.

Saw the fencing in London 2012 and loved it... too old to try it and just not fast enough.

ok... pret.. allez!

Sorry @Endless_Night 🌹

- Yes!!!!! I saw it.. my gosh, the French.. They took it to a whole different level!
It was so elegant, agile, stylish and the crowds were insane!!!

... Might have to look up fencing places, when I go back to the city.. 🤺

That's it! I'm doing it!

Between you saying yes and the rousing descriptions of the sport at Grand Palais - the time has come. I'm in town for a couple of days 2-3 weeks a month. A sizable city, so there must at least be a couple fencing studios.

En garde! 🤺

Texas. Which is fine, but apparently SAD has a lesser known inverted version. The bright light all through the summer just zaps me. August is just a depressing month. 😂

Now fall, I perk right up!
Weird......I'm in the same state and it has the opposite effect on me. My favorite months are July, June and August in that order. The sun is the highest in the sky and the days are the longest. Something about it invigorates me. I love Texas.

Of course I'm a natural waterdog too, either in the pool or the lake.

I'm in the extreme minority. Most people love the ☀️.
