Well, that sucks. I'm sorry. Arthritis doesn't run in my family, for which I am most grateful.

So take that chain saw, sythe (both the small hand one and the large swinging one), boots and bugspray, and get out there in the back40 while you can!

I finally got around to watching Godzilla Minus One (2023).

Wow. Completely not what I expected. I'm not used to seeing so much character development and period backstory in a Godzilla film. I'm more likely to watch the older movies, which feature a lot of camp.

This was incredibly well done. The special effects were first rate! Not overblown as they so typically are these days, to my large disinterest. Effects are great, but they don't substitute for plot, or characters, or acting. It's crazy what the movie was made on, considering the insane budgets of American blockbusters.

I will be watching again. I hope they do a sequel.

So. A flurry of furniture and boxes went back upstairs last week. At which point, the personal-anxiety-relieving device was mislaid.

I say that, but I am starting to wonder if it hides out on purpose. Some kind of personal-anxiety-relieving device revenge for lack of the use it feels it deserves. Inanimate devices think about things like that, right?

Anyway, tonight, I was doing a little organizing upstairs.

I finally got around to watching Godzilla Minus One (2023).

Wow. Completely not what I expected. I'm not used to seeing so much character development and period backstory in a Godzilla film. I'm more likely to watch the older movies, which feature a lot of camp.

I think it’s the best movie I’ve seen in years and years.
It took me by surprise too and it’s the first time, in a Godzilla movie, where I actually cared about the human characters and when Godzilla shows up to destroy the town I was like NOOOOOOO!!!!

That’s usually the part I wait for, but when it happened here it was like ‘Holy Fuck!’

I will be purchasing next month on blu ray.

I absolutely loved this movie!

It was amazingly good. Still surprised.

I need to read up on the Godzilla franchise. We watched reruns of the old movies as children. I absolutely know that Godzilla was the good guy (monster) in some of those movies. Curious as to why and when that happened and why it no longer does.

For the life of me, with all the types and varieties of bikinis, one pieces, tankinis, rash guards, etc. - why do people buy swimwear that does not contain their . . . bits? Bottoms hanging out, stomachs hanging over, unflattering cut and fit.

I mean, why? WHY?

There is something out there that compliments every possible body type. Promise.
