Endless Curiosity III

*picks self up*

*cracks rusty knuckles*

Ahem. Umm, so, to the question:

I flit in-and-out these days. Usually I’m just driving by to drop something off in Endless Ends or see if there’s a new post in Litiquette. While I’m here I might check out the Stickman’s Lootiquette, and I occasionally post-stalk Hotwords to see if he’s been posting da funnies.

He usually has been. :p

Ooh, I'll look for Stickman's Lootiquette. And I'll add Hotwords to my post stalk list.

I hope I am mistaken on my main takeaway: JSG has fins and scales

You are quite mistaken, JSG is finless. I can't even swim. :p

I’m just gonna say hello, and that I’m mighty gratified to see this thread bumped by the thread’s mama. :)

I will also share that socks are among my favorite frivolous purchases. Frivolous because I really only need like three pair as I live in Southern California. Okay, five pair. But the colors! The designs! Like freaking candy. And when the Halloween socks come out, I can’t help myself. Knee highs with orange and black stripes? Yes, please. My daughter lives in a country where winter wear has been elevated to an art form, and I am obsessed with their soft, wool knitted footwear. Obsessed! I want all the colors! Their socks are like warm, buttery soft goodness for the feet. Luckily, my daughter keeps me fully stocked in those charming ambassadors of toasty-ness.

Anyway, I’m slightly embarrassed about the above love song for the socks. But what are ya gonna do? I’ll own it.

This was a much higher word count than my usual post, but it’s a special occasion.

That’s OK, it equals about eight of my posts.

I have some socks, they're probably in a drawer:confused:

I go barefoot most of the time, and my feet go commando in shoes :D

As far as threads? I'm the same old same old poster I've always been, lol.

That was quite the paean de sock!

And the longest post I think I’ve ever seen from Emsway. It also explains la chaussette haute couture that frequent her AVs.

I mean, just sayin'. :cattail:

< my feet go commando in shoes :D <

I have not found occasion to say this on Lit for a long time, but -

TMI, TMI! 😂

Col de mort, is my favorite phrase.

From a Rex Stout Nero Wolfe mystery.

Because where else would you read about something like that.

Ghost stories! Do you believe that ghosts/spirits still linger on earth? If not, why?

Have you had any paranormal experiences? Please share.

Don't be shy, no judgement here. I'm fascinated by the unexplained.

Alternates: What is your most embarrassing favorite song? It could be the one that you are embarrassed to admit loving or the one that embarrasses others when you sing along.

How do you navigate to Lit? Do you have it bookmarked? Do you go to recent sites? Type it in the address bar? Google it?
