This is not difficult. Being nice about other people <> posting a bunch of nudes.

Why is this a complicated to understand?

Positive.....As I approach spring and summer clean, one of things that I'm noticing more is how much "clearer" I seem to be.
I've been up for over 24 hours straight now, looking at pictures from the last few years, among other reasons.
It's like looking at a ghost.
I'm at these events and places, but I don't really remember a lot of them.
I have like snippets of memories at a few of them, but that's really it.
Positive.....I'm now able to remember things better and more clearly.
As I continue what will always be a lifelong battle to stay clean, I'm amazed at just how badly addiction screws with the brain and its functionality.
Positive.....I am truly remorseful for a lot of the things that I said to people in many different threads and boards.
I know that some will never forgive me and while I wish that were different, I'm learning to accept that.
I'm thankful to those that have forgiven me and/or at least talk to me.
I hope that over time, the positive things in my life will bleed over to here, and that the person I was before addiction, will shine through.

Hopefully, talking about my struggle here in a positive thread, will help not just myself, but maybe someone else who needs to see that getting clean and change is possible.
