I woke up alive today, that's always positive. 
My oldest daughter's fingernail has almost completely grown back.
She accidently slammed it in the van door.
I got some great pictures of it. LOL.
I found out today that my daughters GS Troop has match last year's money total from cookie booths,
and they still have 3 cookie booths to go this year.

I wanted to give props to @Bamagan for providing the inspiration for my April Fools 2024 story as well as his contribution to the thread photo collection.
While I didn't take him up on the offer of using his ADMIN app idea (I don't quite have the chops for that yet), it did provoke one of those magical "What if..." moments.
Without that inspiration, I probably wouldn't have a story for April Fools. Thank you!

So I know this isn't strictly in the remit of this thread, but I have to share this or I am just going to burst.
So... I broke a tooth. No biggie. It's one that's been filled before, and the break wasn't painful. So I ignored it for a week or two until today when I finally got around to scheduling an appointment to get it fixed.
Most people are terrified of dentists. Not me. I... it's weird. I hate the act of making the appointment, the organising, the phoning and booking and talking to some random on the phone. I hate phones. And people
. But... once I'm in the chair, it's so nice. Clean room, comfortable position, warm light on my face, white noise from the machinery... and I can zone out and I'm almost... happy. Weird, right. I've fallen asleep during a filling before; the dentist was laughing when I snorted awake again.
But today?
No. Not today. No quiet, calm Wanda today, oh no. Today there was a new dentist there - Maria, Spanish or Portuguese or South American as a distant third option.
Oh God.
She was so hot. A bit younger than me, and slim, and these brown eyes that I could just drown in. She had this mellow voice and this accent that just made me want to give up and move to Aragon, like, yesterday...
I hope she didn't notice how much I was staring at her :/

So I guess that's tonight's fantasies sorted, and the gem of a new story idea :/ because fuck me, I really needed more rattling around upstairs, right.
