Emily’s NEW positivity and being nice to each other thread

I have a bush, I could work on her mane and scrub her body. Yeah, I could get her all cleaned up and see if she's been broken or needs some work.
Horse is better groomed though.
Edit: bush should read brush. Thanks Wanda.

Today, I need something to restore my faith in the basic sanity and general good intentions of at least a majority of humanity. Seriously doubting both.

Any offers?

She’s cute - but I was looking for something to restore my faith in humanity, not to get my panties wet.

I find it hard to believe that your faith could be rekindled with dry knickers. Consider it the necessary first step, and hope that someone less cynical than I am will carry the torch now.

Edit: Good work, @onehitwanda

Second edit: Just amusing myself that I saw your edit immediately after refreshing with my edit.

Id like to think that humans are generally good (I do believe we are born that way). Is there a piece of evidence that you have in mind? Something you are looking for to re-affirm your faith in people? Sometimes it can be in the most simplistic of things.

The fact that you're even asking speaks volumes about humanity's indomitable optimism. Paradoxically, that optimism is probably what keeps us all sane.

One of my trick-or-treaters from last night came back this morning and very sheepishly asked if I had any leftover candy bars. I did and happily got them for him. He was beaming when he saw them and said he was doing a candy drive for a local shelter and I was the first one who actually gave him the candy without questioning him about it first.

It's a little thing, but it's a thing. He's always so respectful and polite when he comes by, if he just wanted the candy bars for himself I wouldn't even care. He can have all 47. Lol.
OK - that’s the shit I mean!!!

Yeah - you are probably right. Despite the mountain of contrary evidence.

They say that "old dogs cant learn new tricks"...my examples for you is that last night, I had the pleasure of being around someone in their late 60's who, up until last night, presented as guarded and defensive. Last night he was a different person - vulnerable, emotionally open and talked about the impact that community has had on him. He was, in so many ways, a different person. To me - it was the epitome of the human spirits ability to grow and evolve for the better.

Lovely 🥰

Keep them coming.

The occasional cute girl is OK too - I’m not that principled.

You are a bright spot on this site. I enjoy reading your posts. I will come back later with something positive about humanity, but I wanted you to know I think you are a positive human. 💗
