Em has thirty-seven to go…

The posts aren't ever numbered sequentially. It's a readout of how many posts that member has, total. So whenever you post, your name on this site moves up a digit wherever it can be found.

Even if she posts on some other thread (and, really, why would she?), her count here will go to 9,991 beside every one of her posts in this thread.
What I'm seeing is the opposite. All of her posts in this thread showed 9,990. Now the new ones are all showing 9,991.

This is pretty content-free, even for me…

Hmm… what if decide that 9,999 is just perfect?

No, she's going to let us twist in the wind until she has something she can't not talk about this evening, oh, around midnight or so.

We have your number, Emily, and it's 10,000. 🤣

Fess up. How many of you are sitting ther hitting refresh, just waiting for @EmilyMiller to post again? I know you’re there. Hitting that title icon just like I am. The power she must feel knowing she’s brought the entire forum to its knees. 🤣

Oh, grovel all we want as she wields the crop just waiting to strike our... well... that's for her to determine.

Em, you are such a tease!

You know the converse is true - that she is sitting there in front of her computer doing the same thing, refreshing this thread and laughing her head off at us.

Bad Emily! Bad! :devilish:

The post number says how many posts the member has total. If you go back to Emily's first ever post, it would still say 9,999 because that's her total number. It's not like post number in threads (my post here will be labelled #41 in the upper-right); it doesn't count up with each post. It just displays the total.
