Em-Dash murder

For all the typewriter years, the only way to render an em dash was the two hyphens, so I think this can be survived. The pity is that it's a step back for Literotica. It hasn't been very long since they were able to take regularly keyed em dashes and render them as given.

For a 'pause' in a paragraph, I'd rather use : or ; .

Neither does the same job that an em dash does.

I'm not torn up by the loss, and I still use them in my submissions. The em dash is perfect for an interruption and/or an abrupt shift in thoughts or dialogue. The reason I'm not too concerned is simply because I doubt most who read the stories will ever notice the change. If they do, they'll have to live with just like me. My original will still have them.
