Elvis

Elvis' greatest hit was when he hit the bathroom floor and passed out from his drug overdose.
Sorry guys, never liked (Sm)Elvis. He was prejudice yet took all of his dances and material from black performers. How cowardy.

Elvis...

If were going to do a favorites thing, then I think we need to look at his movies. Clam Bake. Now that is classic. Elvis was a true Artist. He didn't take himself or anything else seriously. He even died with his pants around his ankles. Now that's class.

That's Alright Mama

Well, that's all right, mama
That's all right for you
That's all right mama, just anyway you do
Well, that's all right, that's all right.
That's all right now mama, anyway you do

Mama she done told me,
Papa done told me too
'Son, that gal your foolin' with,
She ain't no good for you'
But, that's all right, that's all right.
That's all right now mama, anyway you do

I'm leaving town, baby
I'm leaving town for sure
Well, then you won't be bothered with
Me hanging 'round your door
Well, that's all right, that's all right.
That's all right now mama, anyway you do

Love Me Tender

Love me tender,
love me sweet,
never let me go.
You have made my life complete,
and I love you so.

Love me tender,
love me true,
all my dreams fulfilled.
For my darlin' I love you,
and I always will.

Love me tender,
love me long,
take me to your heart.
For it's there that I belong,
and we'll never part.

Love me tender,
love me dear,
tell me you are mine.
I'll be yours through all the years,
till the end of time.

If Elvis was alive,

He'd be a sixty-six year old man, with jet black hair, playing the rooms in Vegas, wiggling one leg, covering the top hits.

"Well I'll tell you wut I want, wut I really, really want"

"Thank-you-very-much"

That's My Thoughts of Hendrix...

Bur not Lennon...John said A pretty face may last a year or two, but pretty soon they'll see wut you can do...Dolly Parton iz still in the Biz with grace and style

Hendrix in Vegas?

No way, you can't make me imagine that. You can't, I tell you!

(running, screaming)

Hendrix wouldn't even be in Vegas...

He'd have nowhere to go, like Eric Burden...He'd be doing one night stands, but not surviving like Clapton...

Way On Down,

Elvis was so cool before he joined the Army, before he decided he wanted to be a movie star, before he thought he was Pavarotti, before the Kernel turned him into a product.

I love the Sun sessions, raw fucking rock-a-billy. Good rhythm guitarist he was in those days. Hard to beat.

I gotta admit his Vegas performances make me snicker a little, that lame Kung Fu shit he was doing. Elvis left the building in 1957.

Elvis' 69 Comeback Special wuz Good...

Yeah, I agree in many wayz...I wuz listening to his 50's stuff last night and threaded...I also rented Jimi Hendrix Experience video last night...Jimi, Wut do you think about God?...I Party at hiz Grave all the Time...Seatle
