Alright this is a fantasy story, four or less human males stumble upon an entire village of female elves that have never seen males before. The females have been living for a very long time, so they do not need to reproduce and are peaceful so they don't really die.

The four or less men stumble in upon their village and the female elves start to explore their male counterparts enthusiastically. The males are warriors that deserted a doomed army.

I will be playing Captain Lorn, the captain of the squad.

Lorn stands 5'11" tall and is adorned in rusty plate mail. A large bastard sword adornes his back and he is encased entirely in metal. His helmet has been missing for quite some time, showing off his shortly cut blonde hair and deep inset blue eyes. A deep scar runs below his left eye.

Patience is a virtue. ;) People barely had time to read your intro, let alone come up with and type up a good reply. It's been less than thirty minutes.

It is a good hook, and I'd probably be joining if I wasn't already involved in so many threads.

Best of luck!

I'm giving up on this if I don't get any roles by the end of today, so Last Call.

Orchid looked amid the trees and found happiness in the fauna. There had been many strange noises from the realm of humans.

She giggled as the old stories of the humans drifted to her mind. They couldn't still exist she reasoned as she sat and combed out her long velvety green tresses. The buzzing of bees and the tapping of the woodpecker invaded her thoughts.

She walked slowly back to her village and thought of the sweet honey cakes that were waiting for her. Yet at times she yearned for more then her sisters and cousins companionship but she wasn't sure what.

She smiled seeing a doe and fawn across the silvery lake and knew that there was something more to life then her village and one day she was certain that it would come to her.... little did she know how right she was

Lorn pushed through more of the foliage. He'd left from the army that was rushing to fight a larger army of orcs. They were being foolish and would be slaughtered at about this time from the orc army.

His feet ached and so did his arms from all the walking. However, he couldn't stop until he found somewhere safe to rest.

Orchid moved along the winding path and listened to the sounds of the drumming. She was well familiar with the noises that other beasts made within the realms of enchantment. Many elven women had been captured by orcs in day long ago stories and history made that known.

She moved quietly to the woodland edge and peered into the gnarled grove of trees. Centuries of legends that were born in those woods as would more legends to tell over and over.

Orchid shook her head as she moved amid the trees. She had many qualities of a wood nymph with her boxom attributes and long flowing hair. Her voice stilling the chirping birds to let her melody carry on the breeze.

A siren's call was never more sweeter as the lilting voice sang on. Then some movement and she watched the oddest looking things move among the trees. What beasts are those?

Orchid pondered more and more as she moved closer being intrigued by things that she had never seen before. They were tall like high elves from the lores she had read but their shape was bewildering. I wonder what they are?

Lorn let out a brutal curse as another peice of brush thwacked him in his face. He swiped at it with his dagger and it fell to the ground among the pile of foliage now. "Comon, theres gotta be some kind of shelter in this forest. The trackers wont follow me in here either." He smiled at his own intelligence as he kep trailblazing onwards.

(I'll give this 3 more hours in light of one new person. If there are no new roles then I'll close it, theres no point in dragging it on.)

Tarlis Moonreaver

Name: Tarlis Moonreaver
Physical Descript: Quite short for her race, at 5'3", Tarla has long mauve hair that shimmers with silver highlights. Her skin is an almost pearly white shade, and her slender fingertips are polished with a delicate pink. Tarla's piercing green eyes hide her thoughts of insecurity and self-conciousness, and comes off quite sure of herself, despite the fact.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tarlis sat at the small table in her home waiting for her honey cakes to be done cooking. Resting her face in one hand, she tapped the fingers of the other on the table.

Where is Orchid? She thought to herself. She was supposed to be home by now. Tarlis was worried for her sister. She had a tendancy to wander off and lose track of time. Tarlis was afraid that she would have to get one of the Elders to talk to her again....

Lorn shoved his way through another bush. His dagger held out in front of him. Stickers covered his metal leggings and spiney things from the bush filled his leather boots. Red marks covered his face where limbs had smacked at him as he moved through a forest he wasn't familiar with.

His eyes turned about scanning for a cave or something he could find shelter in, and that was when he saw her. She had pointy ears and stood smaller then most human woman he had lain with. She was very petite and had large eyes that drew him in. He stood there staring, frozen his mouth wide open.

Had he died? Who was this beautiful creature staring back at him.

Orchid

She looked over the strange creature. There was fur on it's face she reached out in childlike fastenation to touch the growth and noticed the eyes much like hers, full of curiousity.

Yet the distance between them never connected her soft silky touch. She wasn't sure what to do so approached timidly.

"Do You speak the language?" She asked in a smile. Not all creatures spoke elven but some knew the language of the wood nymphs or the halflings. She watched his face and frowned, reaching to her pocket for some salve. She stepped closer and smiled.

"I am called Orchid, what are you and what are you called?"

Lorn squinted at the beautiful woman that approached him. She started spouting gibberish he didn't understand. It flowed quiet beautifully however. He sheathed his dagger as he saw her reach for some kind of cream at her side. "Do you speak the common tongue woman?" He asked questioningly, hoping he would be able to communicate with her. She must know where he could find shelter.

Orchid

She frowned as his words were mixed and jumbled. She had never heard a more stern tone. Unless she counted her sister's but she understood the words.

Orchid looked to the skies and inhaled deeply. She pulled him lower to the brush as the scent of beasts entered the woodlands. She pointed to the ground and put a finger to her lips. She moved slightly off to the left and picked up something,

It was a rugged looking bow but she stood and pulled back the catgut string and fired. Her accuracy was drastic as the arrow pierced the Orc's forehead and it fell dead to the forest floor. She crept back to the strange one and made a sign to follow her.

Lain silently pulled free his bastard sword, as silently as he could. He didn't know why orcs would be around here. He didn't even know if this beautiful woman could understand him. He did know one thing, she was great with a bow. He followed her, and even though he knew it was not the time, he watched her finely toned body as it moved fluidly in front of him. She was one of the best looking females he had ever seen, and she had him fully entranced. He shook himself mentally and kept looking around, there might be another orc around that needed slaying.

Orchid

She lead him past the gnarled oaks then weaved through a grove of tall pine trees that creaked and groaned with the stirring breezes that wafted down from the nearby mountains.

A noise from the left and she quickly drew an arrow and oriented on the direction from the west. A strange creature peered out from the brush then hopped away. She waved her hand and showed him a spring then made a cut off signal.

When he went to dip his hands into the water she shoved him back and shook her head. Then pointed to the water's edge where dead creatures scattered the sides.

"This spring kills, see those animals.. the water fools them by a sweet scent, making them thristy. Do not drink from this water."

This seems intresting, since one of my favorite writers is in here, might I join in as well?

Dine Plaines
5'7"
Long hair that is white, goes down to his mid back
Crimson brown eyes, almost red

Dine was the captain's right hand man and go to guy, Dine was always there when he needed him. He was a fierce warrior that never backed down from a fight, his strange sword was at his side and always was ready to slash out at opposing foes to take there lives, it was a Katana he had taken from a strange mage that he pummeled to death after getting hit with a few minor spells.

Dine and the captain had been separated after they found out they were rushing into a trap and he thought he was following his trail to this forest, but he now saw other tracks here. They looked like Elven tracks.

“Shit… captain where the hell are you, I know you wont be captured by elves.”

He looked around and saw large footprints that screamed armor and Dine knew it was the captains, so he followed them with caution. Dine wore little armor, only a half of a light chest plate and one Gauntlet that had a few tricks behind it.

“Don’t worry captain, I will find you.”

Lorn sighed as he let the water fall back to the stream and he stopped cupping it. He had been so thirsty from all the long walking of course the water had to be poison. It was all part of lifes cruel joke on him. He grabbed back at his bastard sword that laid next to the stream and resumed his crouching position ready to continue to trek through the forest.

He felt bad that he had left Dine behind, one of his best friends from the army. Dine would almost surely be dead by now however. That orc army was too large for the human army to handle. Lorn tried his best to not feel like a coward as he followed the beautiful elf maiden.

Stillness as the birds went silent to announce a new creature was in the woods

Orchid

She paused and looked back into the dense woods. She pointed to the path that lead to a great oak and pushed him to go that way.

"We are being followed.. go now.. I will see what comes."

He turns back and watches as she runs into the trees almost disappearing in the foliage. She crooks an arrow and takes aim at the strange creature moving in the woods. That second creature had long white hair that could be preceived as the dark ones.

He had a smell of an orc but something else that she couldn't pinpoint but The creature that was suppose to follow that path did recognize that other thing.

Dine walked very cautiously he looked all around and knew that Elves loved to attack from the trees, so he stayed close to the tree trunks for cover, he had a small dagger in his hand ready to throw. He had the impending feeling that someone was watching him.

“Come out where ever you are, if you are holding the Captain, than I suggest you let him go, I have come for him and will kill whoever stands in my way.”

He than walked out in the open, challenging those that hid in the trees.

“I’m waiting, or do you want me to find you?”

He slicked his long white hair out of his face and he smiled as he started to move forward again, still seeing the tracks on the ground, but strangely they were fading, but the captains were still there.

“Magic…. I hate magic.”

Tarlis Moonreaver

Tarlis knew that something must be wrong. Her sister was careless at times, but knew that she worried.

Packing the cakes in a small leather bag fastned around her waist, Tarlis grabbed her staff and stepped outside. Closing her eyes, she breathed deeply of the air. It was becoming cold, and night would soon fall. She hoped that Orchid would remember the signals she had taught her: A single bolt of fire shot straight into the air every 30 seconds was meant to help locate the missing party. If the bolts came in groups of three every 10 seconds, it was meant as a distress call. So far, Tarlis had seen no bolts. She sent up a single icy bolt high into the sky where it exploded like a blooming flower. She could only hope that Orchid was alright.

Lorn held his bastard sword out in front of him, his chest heaved from moving so fast, the woman had told him to leave but he stayed his sword ready for anything. He would not take orders from a woman, he was the military men here anyway.

Lorn glanced back at the oak and frowned. Finally he decided that she knew what she was doing, and ran towards the oak, his bastard sword held out before him ready to slash in at first sight of an orc.
