Whatever you call her politics, they are nearer to the mainstream than Gorsuch's. There's not a thing she wants -- single-payer health care, living wage, free public college education, freedom of abortion choice, etc. -- that the majority of Americans don't want.

When I was 12 and got up at 5 a.m. to deliver newspapers, should I have earned a living wage? Was your first job worth a living wage?
Do you want government, with its incredible ability to fuck things up, in charge of deciding what a living wage is, or would you rather let people fend for themselves?
Based on history, I believe a lot more people will find the real minimum wage is zero dollars an hour if we put government in charge of businesses paying a "living wage."

Newspaper carriers can make a living wage, if they deliver enough of them. Most are independent contractors, so they're self-employed.

Actually, health care in Germany had been nationalized decades earlier by Bismarck, and the Nazi regime liberalized the gun laws except for Jews and political opponents.
And then they still want it. Popular demand for scrapping the New Deal programs has hovered at the same insignificant level for seven decades now.
The former, certainly, if "fending for themselves" means "taking the lowest wage employers decide enough applicants will take."
