The hotel business was a competitive arena that often catered more to men than women. Priscilla McKenzie was the exception to the rule and it had a tendency to make the stuffed shirts she worked with a little uppity with her. That was just fine. They could act like act like assholes all they wanted while she pulled in all the investors while their asses stayed in the positions they were in. She was determined to work her way up. None of these creeps every got to her except for one. Lucien 'Luc' Devlyn was the worse thing that had ever walked into her life.

The man did his best to aggravate her to no end. The first day they met he thought it would be funny to do his Elvis impression, making fun of her name. When she didn't laugh he told her to pull her panties out of her ass crack. It had been the first time in a long time that anyone had dared to talk to her in that manner. Their little clashes had become infamous around the office.

One time when she was having a meeting with an investor, Luc walked into her office with Priscilla's mother in tow. Apparently one of her cousin's was pregnant and Luc said that that was something that she needed to hear right away. While Priscilla's mom gushed about the pregnancy he snagged the investor and ended up stealing the credit for gettting his backing for a new venture. The man was beyond sneaky and it didn't help that rumors were circulating that the two of them were sleeping together. As if she'd let that snake see her naked.

Priscilla had no idea why the man enjoyed doggin her every step. The day was over for now so she headed to the gym on the fourth floor to work off some of the stress of the day. The treadmill was her first stop after she finished her stretches. Twenty minutes later she had worked up a hell of a sweat and her leg muscles had begun to burn. Once her workout was done, she hit the showers to clean up.

It was a relief to work off some of the anxiety that working with Luc had caused. Priscilla laid her head against the wall of the elevator with her eyes closed as she rode it to the bottom level. There was one stop but she never opened her eyes at the time. Everything was fine until the elevator jerked violently and she was pitched forward and into someone's arms.

Her chestnut curls lay in her face so she couldn't see who had caught her. It was quite obvious that this old clunker of an elevator had stalled again. Priscilla pulled her hair back and her heart dropped into her stomach. Of all people she had to fall on, she lay in the arms of her worst enemy. Luc Devlyn and it looked like they were stuck in the elevator together until they fixed it.

Heaven help her!

Luc couldn't seem to get a handle on Priscilla McKenzie. For someone who had a hostility for the "stuffed shirts" of the office, she didn't seem to realize that she'd become one of those stuffed shirts. And not in the way she filled out that shirt, though she filled it out quite well. But in the "uppity" way she behaved towards everyone else. Like she had a stick up her ass.

Luc wasn't exactly Jay Leno, but he liked to keep the office mood light with a joke here and there. However, Priscilla seemed to have absolutely no sense of humor. Certainly not when it came to Luc. And he might have chosen to ignore her as a result, except for their competitive nature and the fact that she was too fuckin' hot to ignore. So he stole a client from her occasionally. Big deal. He had no doubt that he'd lost a few of his clients to her as well, once they got an eye-full of the gorgeous Ms. McKenzie. Not that Luc was chopped liver, but a few of his male clients would look at her and suddenly develop wanderlust.

Not that he blamed those clients who left him for her. Hell, he'd do the same if he were in their shoes. She was very good at her job, but more importantly, easy on the eyes. If she weren't his competition, he would have loved to have known her romantically. But while he was attracted to her, it was clear she wasn't to him.

He'd all but given up on Priscilla when he got into the elevator late that night. But seeing her leaning against the wall, her eyes closed, Luc saw her in a different light. She looked tired. And more vulnerable than he'd ever seen her. He was tempted to reach out and stroke her cheek, but she looked so peaceful that he decided to leave well-enough alone. So he moved to the back of the elevator so that when it opened it's doors in the basement, she need not see him as she opened her eyes and walked out the door. This was him trying to be invisible for once in his life. But the elevator seemed to have other ideas.

When the old elevator jerked to a stop and threw Priscilla into him, Luc breathed in deep. Damn, she smelled good. And those lovely locks tickling his face made him want to reach up and run his hand through them. But then her eyes opened and she jumped back in horror. He couldn't help himself. He laughed.

"The way you jumped back, one would think that I was Jack the Ripper," he joked. Then he reached to press the call button. "Hello? Is anyone there? Our elevator seems to be stuck." Silence from the speaker box.

Priscilla jumped back from the contact with his body that had thrown her for a loop. This was the last person she wanted to get stuck in an enclosed area with. "I would hate to offend the Ripper." She sniped underneath her breath. There was no one answering the emergency line and she was starting to get nervous. "Is this one of your jokes, Luc? Because it is so not funny!" No man pissed her off like this one. Something about him just rubbed her in her sore spots.

She went to her purse and started going through her stuff to find her cell phone. Priscilla's nerves got even worse when she realized that she had left the phone inside her locker in the gym upstairs. "Shit!" She placed her head against the cool metal of the elevator wall and tried to calm down. Slowly she counted inside her head and took cleansing breaths.

Priscilla looked back at him and rolled her eyes at fate. This was one fucked up way to spend her evening. Tired and so not in the mood for moe bullshit, Priscilla sat in the small corner of the elevator. "Let's just do ourselves a favor and not speak. They will find us eventually. I am supposed to be at my cousin's soon for a get together. I'm sure someone or something will miss you eventually too."

She tried not to think about how his body felt so well toned underneath his cloths or how good he smelled. A small blush appearred on her cheeks that she tried to hide to no avail. There was a smirk on his lips and she frowned. "What? I swear, Luc, if you start I have a tazer in my purse with your name on it." Damn it, he was such a cocky bastard sometimes and she was trying fight what seemed to be an attraction to this idiot.

It had to be her lack of sexual contact that was making her feel things contrary to herself. The last time had been two years ago before Rob had left her for her best friend. He had called frigid and uncaring, that he needed a woman not an ice queen. The breakup had served her a good lesson and she walled up her soul before anyone else could take another chunk of it out of her.

The silence was almost deafening and she needed to distract herself so she took out the book she was reading. Not thinking about how it would look for her to be reading 'The 50 Shades of Grey',she cracked it open to the last chapter she had been on. Before she could finish the page she was on the asshole snatched it from her hands with a wide smile on his face. This was not going to end well.

Luc gave Priscilla a mock wounded look as she fired her verbal arrows his way, grabbing his chest in pain. If Priscilla had continued in cold silence, he would have left well-enough alone. But since she was showing "active" hostility, he felt honor-bound to reply.

But first, he reached into his pocket for his cellphone. And found that it had a dead battery. Muttering a curse, he realized that he'd forgotten to recharge it that morning and had been talking on it all day. What good was a cellphone, if it wasn't available in an emergency. And this constituted an emergency. Luc had been the last one out of the office. And he suspected that the two of them might very well be the last ones out of the building. So, unless there was someone at the other end of that call button that had merely stepped out for a bite, the two of them were stuck in that elevator until.......? DAMN, it was Friday night! Which meant that they might be stuck until the start of work on Monday. He let out a groan at the thought of verbally sparing with Priscilla for two nights and two days.

Fortunately, contrary to what she thought, he also had people depending on him being somewhere. Unfortunately, his sister and her daughter weren't expecting Uncle Luc to show up for the girl's birthday party until Sunday at noon. Still too much time in an enclosed space with a gorgeous woman who he was attracted to but who hated his guts. Someone might die at someone elses hands before rescue.

Now was not the time to demonstrate poor impulse control. But that's what happened when Luc saw the book in Priscilla's hands. Grabbing it from her with a smirk, he drawled, "Why Ms. McKenzie, I had no idea you had a fascination with kinky literature. Shall I pull off my tie and put it away before you have a chance to tie me up with it?" Luc suited his actions to his words, taking off his tie and putting it in his pocket. But more because he was afraid she might throttle him with it. If looks could kill, that look she was giving him would have struck him dead on sight.

The level of maturity in the small room had dropped to that of a horny teenager. "It's a book, you moron. One of those rectangle things with words in them. Remember those?" She growled at him. "In your dreams, Devlyn. There is nothing in heaven or Earth that would make me lose my mind that badly that quickly." She had been mildly fascinated by the world of bdsm for a while now but it was never something she got to explore. The book was highly erotic and served its purpose when she needed something extra at night.

Priscilla rolled her eyes again, remembering the time Mrs. Pentworth, Luc's 60 year old secretary found a dirty magazine on his desk when she went to retrieve a file for him. The man was no glorified innocent, the women adored him which only made him more annoying to her. "Are you ever going to act like a grown up?" She stood up and tried to take the book back but the imbecile was being foolish. Her temper was going from luke warm to boiling very quickly and was about to approach steaming in 3....2.....1...0. "Give it back, Luc or I very well strangle you with that ugly tie."

That was hitting him where it hurt. Luc had always prided himself on how he dressed. 'Mr. GQ' he called himself. It was enough to make her want to gag. He managed to dodge and weave, which was making her decidedly frustrated. "Look if we are going to be here for an extended period of time, we're going to have to at least try to stay sane. Just sit in your corner and I will sit in mine and everyone will live for now."

That somehow had felt like scolding a whipped child from the look on his face. That was the first mistake she made, showing one bit of regret for being nasty to him. She made a quick attempt at a grab for the book and he weaved but her foot got caught, taking them both down. He lay on top of her body while they tried to catch their breath.

Priscilla was steadily getting more aware of the well toned body underneath those cloths and it was effecting her despite her best wishes. Her nipples had gone hard and were poking through the tee shirt she was wearing, making it painfully obvious that she was feeling something. Her voice cracked a bit as she tried pushing him off of her. "Get your dumpy ass off of me, you ape."

"Dumpy ass?" Luc replied in an offended tone of voice, looking over his shoulder at his behind. "After all the miles I've logged on my bicycle? I don't think so. And I kind of like where my ass is at." He smirked as he looked down at her.

Then he became a bit more serious, as for the second time that night, she showed a certain vulnerability uncharacteristic for the "Ice Queen". The way her nipples jutted out under her t-shirt, the way her voice had cracked, and the distracted look in her eyes told him that she was not quite as icy as normal. On an impulse, he reached forward a hand to brush her hair out of her face, wanting a better view of her eyes and her lips. Just as Priscilla was about to say something spiteful in response, he reached down with his hands to pin her arms above her head. Just for a moment. Just long enough to lean in for a quick kiss, releasing her and pulling back as quickly so that she couldn't head-butt him. She was shocked into silence by the act. But so was he.

After a few moments of that uncomfortable silence, he gave her an impish grin. "I guess I've been a very bad boy. If you need my "ugly" tie to tie me up, let me know." Luc stood up and offered Priscilla a hand up while the other hand held out the book for her to take.

Priscilla wanted to say something nasty to him but the moment his lips touched hers she was a little shell-shocked at his actions. That was the last thing she had expected him to do and it did nothing to douse the attraction that she was feeling towards him. Ordinarily she would have socked a guy in the nose for pulling what he just tried but he looked even more shocked that he did it than she did. It had been quick but almost sweet and gentle. Who knew Devlyn had that in him?

She was fighting a grin at his antics, telling herself that he was immature and completely idiotic. Last thing Priscilla wanted was to encourage that ass to keep up his act. She took the book from and walked back to her little corner but the giggle escaped before she could do anything to keep it in. The fact that it escaped had her pressing a hand to her mouth and saying a silent prayer that Luc hadn't heard the moment of weakness.

Her body was already starting to throb in the sweetest of ways and she was having a hard time handling herself. "I think we both know if I get a hold of that tie it would be to gag your chatty cathy ass so I can have some peace and quiet until we're out of here." Priscilla was trying desperately to recover the ice that had always protected her before. She was determined to not let him past her defenses. No man was going to hurt her ever again.

She sat in her corner and gave him the famous glare that was rumored to make grown men pee in their pants. Priscilla pretended to go back to reading her book when in reality the words were blurring together. She was very aware of Luc's presence inside the elevator and it was starting to get to her. The little bit of distance between then did nothing to calm down her budding arousal. Her clit was tormenting her to a point that she had to severely restrain herself to keep from squirming.

Priscilla took some cleansing breaths and tried to picture herself somewhere relaxing, far away from the man that had been tormenting her since the day they hired him on. Her mind just couldn't deviate from the feeling of his lips on hers, the pressure of his body on her small one. For the life of her, Priscilla could never understand Luc's motives for doing anything that he did.

She gritted her teeth because she knew that as bad as she needed to know, the asking was going to be the hardest part for her. "Why did you do that?" He looked as dumbfounded as she did that she would even ask the question. "Just answer the question, please." There was a word she seldom used around anyone. 'Please'. Priscilla asked for anything, she demanded it. Especially when she knew it was something she rightly deserved to have or know. "Why did you kiss me?"

After helping Priscilla up, Luc had turned his attention to the elevator control panel. Trying to use it as a distraction away from what had just happened. Then he heard her......giggle? Did he actually hear her giggle? Priscilla McKenzie, terror of the office doesn't giggle. She glowers, glares and growls at all her co-workers. In fact at everyone but her clients. His back turned to her, he smiled at the thought and actually tried to act as if he hadn't heard it. He wanted to savour the moment when her ice had started to melt. But then she had to ask the hard question.

"Why did you kiss me?"

He looked at her, uncertain what to say. Luc didn't really have a good answer for the question. Probably because he was asking the same question of himself. And the most honest response he could give was one she wasn't going to like.

"Probably because it was the first time I had seen you look like a woman and not like the Ice Queen. You are incredibly beautiful, when you're not trying to give people frostbite. And those lips..........."

Luc cringed, realizing that he had started to say too much. But her lips were irresistable, when she wasn't spouting venom with them. He pressed the call button once again, as if to change the subject.

"Hello? Is anyone there? We're trapped in the elevator!"

Still nothing. As old as this elevator was, he wondered if the button or the speaker were still operational. So he pulled out his small Swiss Army knife and began loosening the screws to the speaker box. It was a way of distracting himself from the 800 lb gorilla in the room. Namely, that kiss. Why the hell had he kissed her? Yes, it was something he had been longing to do for quite some time. But this was the worst possible time and place for that to have happened. He could have grabbed her as they were on their way out of the elevator one night and kissed her. She would have, of course, slapped him. He would have, of course, laughed. And they would have gone their separate ways, her to fume about the kiss and him to revel in the kiss. But here, they were captives in a small confined space, where both of them could stew about that kiss and glare at each other for the whole weekend.

Priscilla dropped the book onto the floor with a clunk. Those cold brown eyes were wide with astonishment and almost made her look innocent. "You think I'm beautiful?!" It was more of a statement than a question and she couldn't help how she was looking at him at that moment. She had never thought Luc even saw her as a woman in way, shape or form.

It had been a long time since a man had touched her like that and even longer since anyone had called her beautiful. It was making her see Luc in another light and she was wondering if there was something in him that she hadn't seen or been allowed to see when they first met. Luc actually looked a little nervous and she had to hide an amused smile behind her hand.

Is he nervous?

Priscilla didn't feel so exposed anymore now that she saw that she wasn't the only one who had a weak spot. "Calm down, Devlyn. You look like you're about to jump out of your skin." There was a bit of choked laughter at the end of the sentence that she could just barely contain. It was hard not to laugh at someone with the personality of a cartoon character.

The ache in her body had been a long standing bane that she couldn't take anymore. It had been so long since she felt like a real woman and those few moments had brought it all back to her. Priscilla stood up and walked up behind Luc. "What if I told you I wanted you to do it again?" Her expression was complete and utterly honest. Priscilla was allowing him access to a vulnerable part of her and how he chose to react would decide how things went.

Luc heard the clunk of the book as he removed the second screw from the panel. He was tempted to make a joke about the book when she stunned him with another question. Or was it a question?

"You think I'm beautiful?!"

Was she messing with him? Or was she really that clueless about how gorgeous she was? Luc's first temptation was to make a biting response typical of their normal verbal battles. But he sensed that for once, she was being serious. His second temptation was to tell her just how attractive she really was. But that meant letting down his guard. And if she really wasn't being serious, that would provide her with the opening to jab at him. He had become so accustomed to their battles, it was hard to know if Priscilla was waving a white flag of truce or just luring him into another battle.

"Calm down, Devlyn. You look like you're about to jump out of your skin."

Now, that sounded like the old Priscilla he was accustomed to. With the usual mocking laugh following her comment. But while he was debating a response, she'd gotten up off the floor and moved behind him.

"What if I told you I wanted you to do it again?"

Luc looked over his shoulder with suspicion, certain that this was a trick. But the look in her lovely brown eyes was direct and honest. Demanding a similar honesty from him. But since his mouth always seemed to get in the way when it came to Priscilla, he decided on a non-verbal response.

Luc closed up his pocket knife and put it away. Licking his lips, he turned to face her with a nervous smile. Reaching up with his right hand, he brushed the hair out of Priscilla's face once again, before cupping her cheek with that hand. Using the thumb under her chin to tip her head back and her face up towards his. Placing his other hand on the small of her back, Luc pulled her close as his lips lightly brushed hers. Waiting for her lips to part. When they did, he pressed his lips to hers, tasting her with his tongue. Just a light lick. Teasing her without pressing her too hard, he was waiting for her response. Gauging how passionate she wanted to be.

The simmering heat that had always situated itself below the ice began to bust through little by little. Priscilla felt a tingle where he touched her face and she couldn't help the look of utter helplessness to this feeling. When she felt those lips brush hers, there was another crack in the ice. Her nipples ached painfully against the material of the shirt she wore and an ache had begun between her legs. She responed to him, molding her body into his welcoming warmth.

When Luc's tongue licked at her mouth, a flame shot through the ice and another part of her burst loose from it's frozen cage. Priscilla opened her lips and moaned into his mouth, letting her own tongue tease at his own. The clothes against her skin felt scratching and smothering. There was a noticeable noise of shock when she wrapped her arms around his neck and deepended the kiss.

Some part of her was yelling that she shouldn't be doing this, that it was a stupid mistake she would regret later. Priscilla didn't listen to it for the first time in a long time. Touching him felt so good and she didn't want to stop. Her fingers shot up into hair, lacing through those thick locks as she tasted him, suckling at his tongue.

Priscilla felt her back being pressed up against the elevator wall and she wrapped a leg around Luc's waist. The feeling of him pressed into her was just incredible. It had been so long since she felt that delicious friction of another body against her own. Her hands wondered as if they had a mind of their own and had unbuttoned his shirt partially. Her slender finger were exploring the feeling of his bare chest.

She whimpered. "Luc...." His name was a breathless rasp. "Please touch me..." The ice queen was begging him to touch her, the class clown of all people. Priscilla could feel the dampness between her thighs, dampening her panties. The ice was down and all that remained the flame that had been hiding underneath that whole time. She couldn't hide from him anymore. "I want you."

It had been years since he'd french kissed a woman. Since Sandy, his senior year of college. He thought she would be his wife. She thought otherwise. Since then, there had been other women, but the kisses had always been casual. He'd always felt the tongue was reserved for someone special. So why Priscilla, someone he'd been at war with for so long? Probably because he'd secretly wanted to kiss her more than any woman since Sandy.

Her lips tasted of cherries, her mouth of something else. Cinnamon? As his tongue played tag with hers, he wondered where this Priscilla had been hiding. A part of him tried to remain cautious and tentative with her, expecting her at any moment to pull back and slap him. At least until her arms snaked their way around his neck and she became more passionate in her kiss. He mumbled a sound of surprise at that move. After that, Luc returned passion with passion.

But with that grip she now had on his hair, the way she was working his tongue, and her leg wrapping around him, it seemed as if, even in lovemaking, she needed to compete with him. Either that or it had been a long, dry spell for her. Moving her against the wall was a necessity, with her standing on one leg.

Priscilla's moves seemed frenetic, as her fingers then moved from his hair to the buttons on his shirt, undoing them and then lightly tracing the contours of his chest with her fingers. His hand started wandering down from the small of her back, under the waistband of her workout pants, and to her ass.

"Luc.... Please touch me... I want you."

He straightened up and looked at her in surprise. She wasn't telling him anything he didn't already know, as he felt how damp her panties were. And then there was that distracted look on her face, which he'd never seen prior to tonight. But still, it was a shock to hear her actually admit it. And with a sound of desperation in her voice.

Luc gave her a slight smile, trying not to seem like he was making light of the moment. No mocking laugh or smirk or any indication that this was a game to him. Just a gentle stroke of her cheek and a squeeze of her ass. Yet he couldn't resist asking softly, "Where is Priscilla McKenzie and what have you done to her?"

The question barely registered with her, the passion-induced daze fogging her brain. Her usual instincts would be to back up and bring those defenses back up but she didn't this time. The ache in her was just too sweet and his touch too satisfying to just put in the back of her mind and act like it never happened. It was time try again.

His hands felt so good on her body, making her shake. Priscilla took a long deep breath and looked up at him with those smokey eyes, seeming to be rethinking her course of action. She gave him an honest to god smile that softened her face, making her look like a girl again. "Just decided to put the Ice Queen on the shelf for a while." She leaned in to smell his skin and thought she felt him shiver against her.

She loosened the tie all the way and pulled it off of him, hanging in on the light fixture above her head. Priscilla undid the button at his collar and spread the shirt apart. Leaning in slowly her mouth kissed the skin of chest while her hands went around his waist to grip his ass. She looked back up at him. "I want someone to take me for once, for someone else to have the control."

What she was admitting to was a hell of risk but she felt the outcome outweighed the risk. Priscilla toed out of her shoes and lightly brushed her lips against his, teasing them softly, giving a mere taste of the lips waiting for him. There was a heavy tension between them that could be cut with a knife. This kiss was the frantic mania that the first had been. Priscilla slowly glided onto his lips, her hands exploring the skin of his chest and lower stomach.

She could feel something in the lower regions poking at her stomach and shivered. Priscilla slid her tongue along side his, teasing into a dance with her own. The burn in her belly became more intense but she struggled to keep the pace where it was so she could savor it. Her aching pussy was practically screaming to have him inside her but the long torture would make the outcome even sweeter than either could imagine.

This was going waaaay faster than Luc wanted. Unbelievably enough, it had been awhile since he had made love as well, though apparently not as long as Priscilla. There were a couple of females in his life by the name of Megan and Sarah who he adored, but that was a different relationship. They consumed more of his life than he had fully realized until this moment. But what he did know from past experience was that he liked to take it slow, savouring the body of the woman he was with. If he didn't take charge, Priscilla was going to consume him before he had the chance to taste her.

Reluctantly pulling his hand from her ass, Luc grabbed Priscilla's wrists. Pressing his body against hers, he pushed her against the elevator wall, raising her wrists above her head and trapping them against that wall. Leaning down, his lips next to her ear, he softly commanded, "Hold that pose, please." "Please" may have sounded like an odd end to a command, but he was so used to fighting with this girl that he wanted to take control of the situation without appearing to take control of the situation.

Stepping back a moment, he smiled at her as he reached down to pull her shirt over her head, stepping back into her body as the shirt reached her upper arms. Pulling it off them, he tossed the shirt over where his shirt and jacket lay. Pinning her wrists over her head with his left hand, Luc leaned back to appreciate a view of her breasts.

"Exquisite," he murmured. At that moment, he thought the less he said, the better. Just the right command at the right time and the right compliment at the right time. Too much talk and he could say something that could set her off, bringing back the old Priscilla.

Round and firm and just the right size. He had always agreed with a line from a movie that he'd seen as a youth, that anything larger than a handful and you risked a hand strain. Her's looked to be C cups, a nice handful as he lightly squeezed one and then the other. He could see the want in her eyes. And could hear the audible intake of breath as he squeezed her breasts. Leaning his left side into her once more, Luc lowered his head to kiss her cheek, her lips, and her neck, all while his right hand cupped her breast, his thumb lightly brushing across her dark, pink nipple. Feeling it grow stiff as a result of the stroking. Wanting to keep a bizarre degree of symmetry, he then traded sides and hands, taking his time with her body.

Priscilla squirmed against him, clearly wanting to do more. Luc released her wrists finally, but only to softly order her to, "Turn around and face the wall. Please."
