Anybody have any experience with this? Wife and I were contemplating getting into this. I'm curious about a couple things.

My primary concern is that it damages nerve endings, eventually rendering them useless. Is this just a myth or a fact?

Any help or insight is appreciated.

I had an experience with violet wands that was really great. Never have I heard that it causes nerve damage, but I have to admit to not having done much research on that topic. DVS probably has alot of info on this, he's into electroplay.

Maybe he will chime in soon. :)

I haven't heard that it does, but then again, I haven't done it either. D's mariposa's been on the recieving end of a TENS unit before, though. Come to think of it, the TENS unit is a medical thingiemabob, so it probably doesn't hurt your nerves and stuff.

Just be sure and educate yourselves first before you play, so we don't read about you in the headlines somewhere.

And stay away from car batteries, household current and field telephones, too.

I read about electro play and the dangers, I don't recall where though... Maybe either the library here or a google search might help you.
What I remember reading didn't say anything about killing nerve endings. It was more about from where to where not to run the electricity (like from one breast to the other, as there is the heart in the way that is run by electric kind of stimulation).

Haven't heard anything about nerve damage. :D My daughter is quite enjoying playing with the neat little battery run toy that delivers sparks and bite which I recently sent her!!

So maybe sticking 9v batteries to my tongue is a bad idea? Damn I like the way they taste though.
