Electricity

Welcome to the wonderful world of Massachusetts style winter. No phone, no heat, no water pump.

Sorry that you got my weather, by mistake. I was wondering, about what happened to you.

My gramps can cook just about anything on a coal stove. And then eat it dispite it being covered in little black flakes. When I wouldn't eat it, he told me it would, "put hair on my chest".

I was like, "Gramps... those aren't hairs. They're tumors. Plus, why would I want to have to wax more?"

I swear to god, he looked at me and asked, "Wax? What the hell does that mean?"

He's only in his 60s. WTF?

It was a truly different world, before you were born.

LLoyd Bridges is best known for his role of Mike Nelson in Sea Hunt, the popular syndicated
American TV series in 1958. He is the father of actors Beau Bridges and Jeff Bridges.

I know what a hot bear is. That doesn't give him an excuse not to know what the fuck wax is.

I understand that the razor was apparently not invented until sometime in the mid 80s.

It all depends on what you grow up with. Women did not wax their legs when he was younger.
They shaved their legs. Wax is something he used, to make his leather shoes look nicer.

Unless he knows more about hot wax than you do- (and plans to keep it his own secret.)

Goddamn it... I hate you for putting that image in my head.

My router has been a whiney bitch since the power came back on. WTF? Every other page it redirects to "Speedstream Router is being a whiney bitch" page.

Welcome to the annoyances that accompany truly bad weather.

Survivor is on, over here. Hugs! Who will seduce the Little Person?

$400 is not that much for a generator, especially if it's any good.

Yeah, but it's more then we got. That was for a used one. The new ones were all $600+.

The average annual income for my area is less then $13000. I learned that today. On this forum.
