Russian-owned company caught trying to hack Ohio voting systems on Election Day

A Russian-owned company tried to hack the Ohio office that oversees the state’s voting systems on Election Day, according to Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose.

LaRose told the Columbus Dispatch that the state’s internal systems detected an “SQL injection” attack that attempted to insert malicious code onto his office’s website.

So this all started in 2000, with Florida fumbling the count in Bush V Gore. Instead of 'Butterfly ballots" which are IBM punch cards and difficult to fuck with we now have "Space Age" machines that are easy to fuck with and hard to isolate.

Considering how much we have had to spend to replace IBM punch cards and end up with a system that has very little integrity, why not go back to punch cards? Hanging Chads are not that much of a problem and if you don't punch all the way thru, you lose your vote, tough shit.

I do not trust any machine that requires "software" to vote or tabulate votes, unless they are under strict non-partizan supervision.
