Just a warning: California's Arnie wants to be prez (after he gets the U.S. born citizen rule changed).

Perdita

I have it that he will run in 2012....by then the rules will have changed:rolleyes: it's more convinient that way.

I would like to see Hillary get in, she is a brilliant if not understood woman, but sad to say, I don't see a woman being president in my life time.....then again, I never thought I would see the Berlin wall come down.

You change that rule and your next President will be Rupert Murdoch with the first party to get dibs. Trust me.

Actually, the Republicans have already determined their 2008 nomination. He's more intelligent than Bush, still fairly subservient, and has a more distinguished military career:

Several persons have predicted changes in the Constitution to allow Bush to run again or to allow the governator to run. Changing the constitution is very hard and it's not likely that it will happen. 2/3 of the House and 2/3 of the senate have to approve of it and 3/4 of the state legislatyures have to ratify it. It's very unlikely that will happen.

There is talk of Evan Bayh running for the Democratic nomination in 2008. If he does he will likely be the first Democrat to win Indiana in a LONG time. He was an awesome governor and he just won re-election to the Senate in a landslide. Bayh isn't really a national household name as of now, but that will change. I think he will be President one day. The sooner the better.

If the Republicans were to run McCain I don't think it would be so bad if the Democrats lost. McCain is a really good, honest man who paid his dues in every facet of his life, public and private. Unlike our current "leader".

I have a friend who wants Hillary to run against Colin Powell. Either way we'll break donw a barrier, he figures. LOL.
