EgyptAir flight 804 disappears.

I don't understand why, after what's been happening lately, people still board such flights.
Better try a roundabout route like France - Belgium - Egypt.

-- The airplane "swerved and then plunged" before descending into the Mediterranean, the Greek minister told reporters.

Maybe a deer ran out in front of it.

Maybe a deer ran out in front of it.

Maybe it slipped in the shower, right, ShowerSavage?

Europe's landscape continues to change before our eyes. Many things that are happening now would have been inconceivable several years ago.

Re this particular incident. Everyone knows this, but just jogging my own memory:

"Metrojet Flight 9268 disintegrated above the northern Sinai on 31 October 201. following its departure from Egypt, en route to Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Shortly after the crash, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL)'s Sinai Branch, previously known as Ansar Bait al-Maqdis, claimed responsibility for the incident, which occurred in the vicinity of the Sinai insurgency.
The Russians said they had found explosive residue as evidence. On 24 February 2016, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi acknowledged that terrorism caused the crash."
