Walker Raines
"So, we've now been over the evidence, we've discussed the theories and you've had a chance to form your own opinion," Walker said as he stood at the front of the classroom, the large chalk board on the wall behind him covered with names and dates. "So, did William Shakespeare of Stratford truly author plays such as Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, and Macbeth, or were they in fact authored by someone else?"
"Chrissy, what do you think?" he asked, pointing toward the blonde in the front row.
"Does it matter, I mean, a few hundred years from now, will anyone care who actually wrote the plays?" the teenager asked. "We may never know the truth, but it doesn't stop us from reading the plays, making them into films..."
"A fair question, does it really matter who 'Shakespeare' truly was?"
Walker was about to continue when he noticed whispered voices at the back of the classroom. His eyes scanned the back row and immediately saw two heads bowed close together, the two girls whispering back and forth across the aisle. The rest of the class grew silent, recognizing the look on their teacher's face, and knowing what it meant.
Walker made his way to the back of the class, still apparently unnoticed by the two young women. "Excuse me ladies!" he said loudly, slamming his hand down on a desk to punctuate his displeasure.
