I just wanted to take a minute to thank the 2 editors and 3 beta-readers that were kind enough to take a look at the first chapter of my first submission.
More than one preferred not to be thanked in the afterword, so I'm refraining from mentioning names here.
It was incredibly kind of them to spend their time lending a hand without recompense or asking for public acknowledgement. Their suggestions, critiques and input were invaluable and very much appreciated.
This is a pretty kick-ass community and the efforts of those who give back are gratefully noted.
As long as I'm on the topic of thanks, there are a number of members who continually step forward to answer questions from newbies. Thank you.
