I'm looking for two things in one: A compatible editor (see my list of idiosyncrasies below), but also someone willing to offer a few tips on how to become a better editor myself, most notably how to edit my own work. I don't think I need full blown hand holding, just the occasional pointing in a certain direction.

The reason for that second part of my request: in real life at work, I do most of the writing, mostly technical and instruction manuals for computer systems in whatever extra time I have (so the writing isn't a stated part of my real job duties). I'm good at describing and explaining, and a mere mortal at the rest of it, so I'd love to improve my overall editing skills too.

Also, a bit about me to help you decide if you'd want to bother with me:
  • I'm a bit stubborn.
  • I believe it's ok to break certain writing rules, as long as you're doing it on purpose. ("Gonna" is my favorite word, and I'm not gonna stop using it in dialogue.)
  • My writing style (for stories, etc.) is conversational and informal, and I'm not gonna change that either (see above :D)
  • But to be fair: I'm here to learn and improve, so even with my stubborn nature, I listen too. I know what I know, and I know what I don't know.

My current story is anal group sex plus a smidge of extra anal kink.

Please PM if you're interested? Also, not sure if it's normal or not to have more than one volunteer editor? I've seen people allude to doing that, but I'm not sure how the volunteers feel about that?
