But I hope to grow to be as golden as wheat in September.

Hey everyone! I have been an active participant in the Amateur Pic Feedback forum for a couple of months now and was hoping to increase my artistic scope to include writing. I have a story started as pointed out in my sig line, but it has not been seen, let alone, touched by an editor.

At first, I was kind of cocky about even needing an editor, but after speaking with a couple of authors and reading the posts here, I do not wish to be so-much-so anymore. I'm really not interested in selling a story, although I'm sure I'm not totally against the idea if someone thought I was good enough to push me in that direction. I really like to write just for myself and my friends I have made here in Lit in the APF.

My stories would be based on experiences, dreams, and inspirations from other stories. The inspirations for the most part are drawn from other genres which have little to do (If any at all) with erotica, but I use them to try to bring a common thread to both genres.

I write (I use this term loosely as I'm currently writing my first story) about couples in love. I hope to expand this to relationship issues (ie loneliness, cheating, domestic violence, divorce, reconciliations and the like).

I'm hoping that I can bridge the gap between entertainment and education to help others be entertained, provoked to think, and to act on their issues in life to resolve it. I guess to describe what I'm wanting to attempt, is to say fiction works which will help people improve their lives.

Kind of like an afterschool special for adults, but put in a way that it isn't so painfully obvious to the reader that this is my goal. From their point of view, it should be entertainment, pure and simple.

Any help I could get from you fine folks would be greatly appreciated.

As for an actual submission to Lit, I have not done more than briefly consider it, but if the reponse from a potential editor is positive enough, I could be convinced to submit to the stories here. :)

Love and peace,

Jason
