I started it almost a year ago and the about a month ago I took to completing it with a vengeance. To me it has a feeling of completeness. I've already shown it to several friends who have helped me tweak it. But I would love the assistance of an editor from this site seeing as how they are much more knowledgeable on the subject of erotic stories than the friends of mine that have read it.

You might get a better response if you specify the genre of your story (eg romance, non-consent, incest, gay male, lesbian, etc) and its length (in words) as these factors play a large part in a volunteer editor's decision whether to offer help.

I'd say it's a drunkenly-romantic one-time fling resulting from a bar pick-up in which the female character is opened up to a completely new idea of what having sex means.

Sadly I don't have Microsoft Word. I use Notepad, lol. So I don't know how to go about getting a word count besides counting every word myself.

With Notepad set to "Word Wrap" count the words on two or three full lines and average that.
Count the lines on a full screen.
Count how many full screens you have written.
Multiply these three numbers together.

If you're interested in a word processor but don't want to shell out money for Word, you may want to look at LibreOffice or OpenOffice.org. Amongst the many other functions you expect from a word processor it also does word count for you.

Thank you very much!
