Hey y'all. My co-author, Jushorny, and I are in need of some help with our story. It's a work in progress and we currently have two parts, each about 10,000 words, that need editing, and are close to finishing part three. We don't, as of yet, know how long it will wind up being, so anyone who signs on should consider it an ongoing project. We do have one editor already who offers mostly technical help. Punctuation, pointing out idioms, bitching about passive sentences (which both of us are rather too inclined to using), that sort of thing.
What we need is an artistic editor, if you follow me? You can do as much or as little with the technical aspects of the story as you wish, but what we really need from you is to concentrate on the story its self. Flow and content. Does or doesn't something work. Does it make sense from outside of our heads? We don't want this to be just a boink fest. It needs to be an excellent story that's spiced up with hawt male on male action. The sex, though, is secondary to everything else. I’m not saying don’t make recommendations on the sex scenes. Any and all suggestions are welcome. If you have something to say, about any aspect of the tale then, by all means, let us know.
Just so you’ll know, we’re working in Word and really like comments to be inserted using the reviewing tool bar with the comment feature. We find it much cleaner than placing comments in-line. As for the in-line recommendations, all the usual are fine, strike-throughs and yellow high-light for stuff you think should be taken out, red text and yellow highlight for what you think ought to be added…yadda, yadda, yadda.
Please, please, please…we really would like to start subbing the parts ASAP. PM me, or post here if you’re interested.
