If I am right transgender and trans can mean any person that lives like the other gender he or she has born. Transsexual is more specific. The person has started physical changes to other gender like hormons.

No - that used to be the description ten or twenty years ago. Please avoid the word altogether as it is seen as an insult. The reason being that it introduces 'sexual' into the title and focuses on what someone has between their legs, not the whole person. My genitals did not transition - I did. As a trans person my physical changes are no one's concern but mine, my partner and my doctor. I hope that clarifies and I would not have mentioned it except to help you avoid embarrassment

So my terms are old fashioned. I think I am taking a breik from writing. Some of my followers have asked me to carry on and thank you about that a lot. It means a great deal to me. Maybe my expressions are in fashion again when my breik is over.

I have lost my motivation because of all this editor drama. Maybe it will come back quick or not.

Do you mean transgender? Transsexual is a little old fashioned and can be used as a slur.

No - that used to be the description ten or twenty years ago. Please avoid the word altogether as it is seen as an insult. The reason being that it introduces 'sexual' into the title and focuses on what someone has between their legs, not the whole person. My genitals did not transition - I did. As a trans person my physical changes are no one's concern but mine, my partner and my doctor. I hope that clarifies and I would not have mentioned it except to help you avoid embarrassment

Yes those terms are used on porn sites and escort sites. However nearly all transgender women are NOT in porn or escorts. They are normal people doing normal jobs - yes, I know some people will find that hard to believe.

Your creation yes, but stories are made from language that has history and meaning beyond the simple word. It's up to you of course, but don't be surprised if no one wants to edit if you're not prepared to listen to constructive criticism. *shrugs*

We rarely use transsexual anymore, and it's mostly queer/trans elders who still use transsexual to describe their gender(s). I would stick with transgender if I were you.

Seeing as how you already know more about transgender stuff than the trans people who've replied to you in this thread, why do you need an editor at all?
