These are categories where I've never posted. The story is less than 5k words, and centers on a first-ever threesome of middle-aged people. So maybe it's also First Time. Which means there could be core readers in three categories who will object to it.

Until now I've just barged through and posted what I wrote and edited myself, wherever I liked. Lately, the reception hasn't been too favorable. So maybe I need a talking-to.

For starters, I'd put it in Mature. I think you'd get a warmer response.

I agree. Mature, where it should get a favorable reception. The connotation of "first time" is youth.
