Overall the site is great. I am enjoying an opportunity to work on other peoples ideas, and to advance my own fantasies. In the sixty days or so that I have been here I have enjoyed immensly the feedback from other people on my writings, and enjoyed reading other people's views on the same starting thread. Any comments I make below are in a constructive sense, and I will continue to enjoy the site with or without the changes.
The site has to develop a way to allow editors and writers to eliminate stuff they wrote that they don't want posted any more. Sometimes crap just gets through, or an idea that you think was good turns out to be a loser. Obviously this would require the approval of the stories editor if it is a thread in another story, but it could be done.
I know that I have several stories that have not caught on at all, and I would prefer to delete them and try something else.
The site is already getting bogged down with abandoned stories, and dead end stories. We need a way to clean up the site, and eliminate stuff we wrote that is bad. The stories and threads that Goldfinger abandoned are a good example. Get rid of thems so we don't have to look at them anymore.
Also on my list:
A way to look up stories and threads by author. Maybe allow us a way to view another writer's "My Threads" area.
A way to pass on the editing of a story to someone else who has abandoned the site or story.
