Editing story/old e-mail address

Hi all -- I'm trying to edit (or delete) an old story I posted. But I guess it's been a long time since I logged in... so my account needs to be reactivated. Problem is, the site sends you an email when that happens... and I don't have access to that email account anymore. Any ideas on what I should do?

i HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM

This will not help you but if enough publicity is given to this problem maybe something will be done. i am also an author with 4 published stories and I want to add a new part to an existing story. i have logged in today using my partner's membership so that I can make this post because I am locked out and cannot reactivate my own account. My membership name is Andy336. All I did was try to change my email address but I got it slightly wrong-I put in .com instead of .co.uk. An easy mistake to make. But now whenever I try to log on to Andy 336 I get the message that I have 30s to reactivate my account. But of course I cannot because I never receive the activation link to my incorrect email address. I am now locked out and in a loop I cannot get out of. I have sent dozens of message to the Literotica contact email address all without reply. I have asked Literotica dozens of times to just reactivate my account for me again without any reply. I really do not know how to get their attention and help. So from my point of view it is disappointing and I sympathise with you. Can someone help please?

You should both try sending a private message (PM) to Laurel via the forum. Do NOT send an email from one of the email links; it doesn't look like those even get read. But I would try the PM route.

definitely send private messages. As you can guess from the name, this is not my original account. I made a note of it when I published my first chapter 2 of a story and got a friendly message back if I'd like all the stories moved to the new account. I was in a similar situation not having access to the old email account anymore.

Thanks for those suggestions. I followed them and have sent PMs to Laurel and Manu a few times this week but sadly so far without any replies. I have sent so many emails to Literotica as well but just find it impossible to get a response. I hate to be a nuisance or a stalker! i just don't know what to do. There is definitely a fault with the process whereby if you make a slight mistake in changing your email address in your profile then because literotica then sends the authorisation code to an email address that does not exist then you get into a loop that you can never get out of. if you ever decide to change the email address in your profile do it with a great deal of care because if you make a slight mistake you can get terminally locked out.
I want to submit a new part to an existing story so i do not want to submit it using a new user name. Andy336
