Editing posted stories

Hi all. Im pretty new here and Im sure this has been covered somewhere..but can you edit stories after they have been posted? I got feedback from some upset guy telling me he gave me a rating of 1 because I neglected to say it was only part one of more chapters to come. I guess he's right. How can I remedy this?

EDIT: Oh wait! I DID say at the beginning it was only chapter one. Wow thanks for paying attention anonymous angry guy Anyway, this might be good to know in the future? Thanks.

To edit a story that's already posted, all you have to do is submit your edited copy, like you would normally submit a story, and in the space for the title, include EDITED. Example: My Hot Story-EDITED. It also wouldn't hurt to put something in the notes that it is just an edit of a story already posted.

OK, I did that and the changes I made to the story were made, but the change I made to the description was not changed. Do I have to resubmit it again?

Try PMing Laurel (not email). She's wonderful about helping us out with issues, etc., and will usually get back to you pretty quickly.
