It certainly is a comedown for the billionaire. The one who claimed he was worth more than $10b, had cash assets between $400-600m, and all his properties were paid off or overflowing with equity. We see the curtain pulled back as he grovels, asking the court to take the $100m he can scrape together now and accept that instead of the nearly $600m and rising amount needed for the NY fraud appeal. He thinks it is some bargaining game, and yet his lawyers know full well that it is not the game rules for an appeal.

Oh, I forgot something. E. Jean Carroll. What's that amount? $5m + $83.3m + interest accrued. Need to add that plus all those Washington and Georgia trials costs.

Poor guy - it must feel like a truck ran over him or some Seal Team is tracking his movements.
