Eccentricities, what are yours?

We all have oddities and eccentricities (ok maybe neuroses). They're mostly harmless, and perhaps humorous.

This morning I wanted to defrost 3 English muffins (I buy in bulk and freeze). I had to make sure that two weren't stacked on top of each other, which would theoretically slow the defrost.

I was in the grocery store recently, and noticed the lady behind me tossing her stuff on the belt. And it occurred to me how much I really don’t like that.

I almost never throw stuff. I don’t throw silverware in the drawer, food stuff on the counter. If I am opening a package, I don’t toss the contents on the counter as I open things.

I do toss stuff in the garbage… but not stuff I am keeping.

Seemed pretty odd how am when I realized everyone else seems to toss anything anywhere.

My late wife had her baby pillow her whole life. I threw it out after she died… she was 63! I have no idea why she kept that thing so long. It was not comfy.

It grates my nerves if my kids toss a bag of chips in the buggy, or shake the coke - cause now it's bad! Also, things need to be put on the belt in categories. Frozen and cold together, pantry items together, fruits/vege...like that.
